Dark Cream Week 2026 Day 3

Humility:

Cross sometimes has to step in while he and Dream are out on missions in AUs. Dream has a temper and has no tolerance for disrespect toward he or his teammates. This has caused issues with more volatile AUs. Cross can usually de-escalate so long as he stops Dream from talking back. Sometimes giving into bullies is the safest course of action no matter how horrible it feels to give them the satisfaction.

Pride:

Terror is very proud of his fiancé for sticking to therapy with he, Shade and Illusion. He knows how hard giving up control over his vulnerability is for Shattered. Shattered is still uneasy with therapy but hearing the reassurance from his beloved makes it less daunting.

This is a MUCH darker take on the AU.

I personally prefer a darker reason for Dream eating the apple. Either that or baby boy has WAY too much pent-up negativity and SNAPS. (I am evil and no I'm not sorry. Dream is a fun character to experiment with).

Shade needed his family and said family was not there for him. Desperation and fear drove him to do the unthinkable. To willingly SHATTER himself. Alone, afraid and out of options he ate the apple.

He was being stalked by Yan (fallen stars Swap) who despite Shade making it clear that the sake fueled one-night stand meant nothing, nor did he want to date Yan.

Splinter (FS Ink) had gone completely mad on red and pink paint so he enjoyed tormenting Shade for entertainment.

Yan tried many times to force himself on Shade who by this point was all alone.

When he begged Illusion for help, he was turned away by Daemon (gatekeeper of the system. Illusion has DID) very coldly. Daemon being paranoid decided Shade was lying and refused to protect him from Yan. Shade being too weak from the imbalance turned to the remains of the tree of feelings in desperation to gain enough power to FORCE Yan to leave him alone.

This is before Shattered fully takes over when the transformation is still fresh and all Shade can hear is angry whispers : "WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?!"

Yan did NOT leave him alone even after gaining that power.

Yan also stalked Shattered though he didn't really pay Yan any mind because he was more afraid of Jax finding him and the shattered balance caused by Shade eating his apple.

That’s right. I made my own iteration of TMNT called “Teenage Mutant Spirit Hunters”. I have been on a drug high for these turts for the past two years so I decided to give a proper introduction to this iteration I’ve been working on since then.

This spirit hunters iteration is heavily inspired by the anime demon slayer and on the Japanese religion known as Shinto (a religious belief based on the worship of ancestors, nature spirits, and sacred power in both animate and inanimate things).

Story Summary :

Spirit hunters takes place in the city of New York (duh) and the story begins where a series of mysterious disappearances occur in a subway. The person investigating this story is none other than April O’Neil. While investigating these sudden events she, of course, stumbles upon the turtles and their father master splinter. Splinter then has the idea to train all four of his sons in ninjutsu combat and to work with Ms. O’Neil to track down the people who disappeared and attempt to save them.

I will try to put this story together properly later on for, at the moment, I’m trying to put together their origin story and am currently not sure if I should write this story, make it into a comic, or write the story out as a blueprint and then make a comic. For now I have the main character’s designs and some world building explanations.

Relics and their power explained :

In this iteration, the turtles have these items known as relics. These relics give the turtles a transformed form and have two known categories, Division Relics and Conduit Relics. Conduit relics work as a way to synchronize a powerful spirit mortal’s (the turtles) power and can be summoned in the bearer’s desired second form (like a bracelet turning into weapon for example). A Division relic works the same way, but instead of synchronizing a spirit mortal’s power, it suppresses a memory that causes spiritual corruption. If said relic is broken then what occurs is called a Spiritual Divide, which is the equivalent of death. Leonardo is the only turtle of the four that has this relic.

Dark Cream Week 2026 Day 2

Envy:

Cross felt like the outsider of the group after Mare rescued him from his void. He felt like Dust, Horror and Killer didn't want him there and envied how easily they bonded between missions. Mare puts a stop to it once he realizes how Cross is feeling.

Kindness:

Shattered in his early days of trying to put Fallen Stars back together was used to being treated as a monster. He was scorned even when he helped fix aus Yan and Splinter broke in the chaos following apple incident 2. It hurts but he understands the sentiment. Then along comes Jeb a human he'd been looking after until Core came for them. Jeb isn't scared of Shattered but relieved someone came to save them. The crayon drawing is the first time anyone showed Shattered kindness without wanting anything in return. He still has it in the Safe House to this day. Jeb is safe as an outcode and visits the FS base to keep the bosses company. Yes they know about Shade, Terror and Illusion.

Dark Cream Week 2026 Day 7

Greed:

Ending this on a wholesome note. Shattered loves the members of the Safe House; his found family. Terror is everything he needs in a man. They all are his to cherish and protect.

Shattered collects multiverses and their apple duos like pokemon cards. I said what I said.

Finally showing some other designs like my take on LV 20 Cross or Himbo. Dusk (codeswitch dream), Grape (dreamswap nightmare, Daemon (part of Illusion's DID system), Shade, Terror, Dixie with Neon (fresh symbiote) and, Halo (swapdream).

Himbo has the lv horns but can collapse them into the glowing marks on his head. His hoodie fluff is permanently stained from the lv exposure as are his bones. His scar is deeper by his own hand. The collar helps keep his lv in check if his control slips.

Dusk is a fae. Codeswitch is fae coded for my head canon.

Dark Cream Week 2026 Day 4

Gluttony

OG Dream often has flashbacks to the way he was pulled in every direction by the village even when he was tired. They wanted his positivity for themselves; to gorge themselves on it at his expense without consequence. After his escape from stone not much changed aside from learning he can and should say no. Cross is there to remind him that he's more than his soul when he has episodes.

Dark Cream Week 2026 Day 5

Patience:

Cross "rescues" Rosanne from Halo(read they have a custody agreement but need it to be dramatic) for 2 weeks a month and she runs around the castle in OG. She sometimes wakes him up or just wants to snuggle with him. He's tired but won't trade his daughter for the universe.

Wrath:

Don't mess with the feral mother bear that is Shattered(even though he refuses to admit he is one). He will throw hands with anyone who hurts other members of the Safe House. He sees them all like his children even if they're adults. Overprotective? A b s o lu t e l y.

Dixie(Dream Shattered is holding)will be fine don't worry.
