He’s not really shipped with anyone but Smee.5: first headcanon that pops into my head: He’s always secretly really, really loved singing lullabies to Michael, and when they grew up Michael stopped asking him to sing them to him. So when Michael finally does again in the episode where John and Smee sing together, John is overtaken with nostalgia and excitement (even if he acts put-upon). 6: favorite line from this character: “”–Then my degree in calligraphy will really pay off, and that. Is my five-year plan.” (But let’s be real he’s a beautifully quotable character. Everything out of his mouth is gold.)7: one way in which I relate to this character: I, too, just really really want my parents to be proud of me honestly.8: thing that gives me second hand embarrassment about this character: That first time he met Smee, I guess? There was so much adorableness but also just they were both such awkward precious babes and wow.9: cinnamon roll or problematic fave?: Utter cinnamon roll.
