Blood, Sweat, No Tears | Easter Egg | Divide and Multiple Event
The lights went out. Most scrammed out of the ballroom. Thora gave a slight roll of her eyes. They convinced her to dress up, though not having a costume, a princess was all she settled with. It wasn't much out of her range, considering she just grabbed a gown from her closet and was given a flower crown to wear. Everything was seemingly okay, she didn't understand why the Midgardians could get spooked so easily, then again, she hardly understood the holiday. In the darkness. A few screams were heard as well as loud scurry across the floor. It didn't sound human. Thora went on guard. She reached under her dress into her boot and grabbed out her daggers, ready to attack whatever was making the others cry out.
It didn't take very long before she had heard the many feet scurry toward her. She couldn't see it, though, whatever it was. But she sure as Hell felt it, especially when its legs had pierced her back like spears. A gasping cry came from the Asgardian. Some of the lights started flickering, her arm flailed behind her with her dagger and stabbed at the creature, hearing it squeel is displeasure. It was almost like a call, considering two more had scurried out from under a table to come aid in attacking her.
A panic went through Thora. First thing was first, she needed to get this thing off of her back. Tucking her arms under herself, she flipped herself forward, slamming the creature under her on the ground. It squealed and the legs snapped under the weight. Blood coated her back from the open wounds from the piercing legs. She got down on her knees in front of it and started carving and hacking and stabbing at the creature. She had managed to get a clean cut through the creature, ready to go at the others, though, she noticed something odd. Not only was it regrowing, but into two separate bugs now, legs growing back as well.
The brunette stared in confusion and she stared at the creatures in front of her. "Is that all you have got, you foul creatures?!" She screamed at them, blades of her daggers between her teeth as she picked up a chair, swinging at one that was propping itself up on its backer legs. She hit it and sent the creature flying across the room, slamming into a wall, splatting with a foul screech. The chair added an extra crunch to it when the wood smashed against the mess on the wall. Unfortunately, while she was busy being distracted by the mess splattered upon the wall, one of the creatures impaled at her stomach. Another cry was released from her, daggers dropping from her mouth and onto the ground.
Thora fell back, flower crown falling and petals falling everywhere. She screamed as she tried to pull the beasts legs out of her. It got louder when she felt one of the creatures gnawing at her leg. She kicked it off as she attempted to pry another off her stomach. A hand reached out and barely grabbed the handle of one of her daggers, slicing off the legs that were caught in her flesh to successfully push the beast out. The champagne grown was now blood stained and tattered. She had straddled the beast while it was on its back and stabbed at its underbelly, screaming bloody murder at it as she gutted it, stabbing the faces of the two other bugs that now tried to go at her.
The princess stood up once it was fully gutted, though.. the creature seemed to be rebuilding itself. Anger raged through her. She wished she had her sword. It would make this a hell of a lot easier. Thora took the opportunity to cut the excess length of the dress off. It was getting in the way. Everything up to her thighs was now free, but also covered in blood. She also took the change to remove her boots, only to throw them at the two creatures coming toward her. It stalled them for only a moment before she grabbed both of her daggers again. Body slamming one of the bugs against the wall, getting a screech out of it and a good bite on her arm. A war cry released from Thora, echoing louder of the cheery Halloween music playing in the background while the lights flickered. She stabbed one of the daggers through the head of the bug, watching it squirm and claw at her. It wiggled for freedom, but Thora ran and grabbed a table, slamming it up against the bug so it couldn't wiggle free. She stood atop the table, hearing six of the ten legs of the bug clank at the wood.
She scanned for the others. One was still on the ground, regenerating itself, the other, skirting across the floor, looking for a moment to strike. She felt a light jab at her back, causing her to hiss. The bug had managed to stretch to barely scratch her. Rage filled her and she ripped the leg off of the bug, stabbing it through its middle between the dagger and the table. It squealed as it was stabbed, another leg started to regrow. She proceeded to rip that one of and stab it in the face, receiving another squeal.
Turning, Thora looked for the bug again, it was scurrying around on the floor. She watched it and crouched down. She had one dagger left. When the bug was in close enough proximity to her, the princess pounced on it. It was a wresting match, mostly for power. Thora leg out cries as the creature scratched her face, beck, chest and several spots on her arms and legs. She had managed to stab it several times, causing it to screech and reheal itself. While it was healing, she'd flip it over and grab it from behind, allowing its ten legs to squirm to try and latch to her. The Asgardian stood and pressed it against a wall, dagger being stabbed right through its head. It squealed in displeasure and Thora swiftly grabbed a chair. She slammed it over the back of the beast, letting it snap into bits. Taking the wooden shards now, she stabbed them through the beast to the walls. It screeched. Thora didn't care. She just kept stabbing it against the wall until it was unable to break free.
There was one left. The one she'd gutted on the floor. It was barely finished regenerating itself before Thora had gone over, doused in blood, stomping directly on the face of the bug. She smashed it in a few times before she started to scream loudly over the music, crushing her feet over the entire bug. Feeling unsatisfied with that job, she took a table, ripping everything off it first and put it upside down over the beast, so the table top was on the creatures belly and she slammed it down upon it, before she had stood on it and walked across it to smash the bug against the ground, still screaming. She was covered in blood and a gunk that came from it, the same that was smeared on the walls.
Thora's breathing was thick and heavy. She stared at the two bugs, both stabbed upon the walls, unable to move. She had gone over to the food table, eagerly grabbing all of the sharp silverware she could find. She took advantage of stabbing each and every sharp object into the creature pinned with the wooden shards. Its screeching was satisfying. In her mild bloodlust, she rushed over to the other bug pinned against the wall with the table and the dagger and she took that very table to smash it and crush it into the wall, screaming again. She took a few good whacks at it, letting it smash into the wall. She dropped the table, panting heavily. She ran a hand cross her forehead, sweating through the blood coating her face from the deep cuts. She had deep cuts everywhere. She felt light headed. The ones in her back and stomach were deep. Everything else wasn't too bad... but she was bleeding out. Badly. Before she knew it, Thora had blacked out, laying on the floor close by where the flower crown had fallen, blood seeping over to it as she laid there, breathing slowly as her body rested in its unconscious state.
