By the end of their altercation, Klaus had let Jackson live, either out of respect for Hayley having stood up for him, or because Jackson had said all the right things, even while on the brink of death. Personally I thought the entire arc was a way for Klaus to test Jackson and that Klaus didn't truly intend to kill him. But then at the end of the episode, Klaus told Elijah that he still planned to kill Jackson AFTER the wedding. So I guess I was wrong? Klaus just does not like Jackson; jealousy, much? Because if we're being real, the Klaus-Hayley scenes were the most thrilling and emotion-packed of them all. Those two just make good drama, so it would not surprise me if this situation started taking a turn toward expanding into a truly demented love triangle. (Or quadrangle, including Elijah.) Look, I don't know. But I seriously love this pollen, okay?
