POV: Your cheeky and dramatic immortal boyfriend adores you.

"Stop it."
You shift uncomfortably in your chair and let your eyes wander over the empty tables of the luxury restaurant.
You try to avoid making eye contact with the blondy sitting across from you, who seems to be watching you as if he wants to devour you rather than the meal in front of him.
Klaus Mikaelson.
"Stop what, love?"
He rests his arms on the table and leans toward you. He smiles, revealing his charming dimples.
You exhale a tense, slightly irritated breath and turn your eyes toward him. You feel your face burning as you furrow your brows slightly.
"You know very well what is that."
You can't keep your eyes on him for long. You lean back as you take a sip of your drink.
"If you don't like the restaurant, we can go somewhere else. You just have to say so, love."
He says this with a serious facial expression, but in a mocking, low-pitched tone.
"Klaus."
He laughs, unable to help himself.
"What?! What did I do now?"
"Stop looking at me like that!"
"Wow! So, am I forbidden from looking at my woman now?"
His eyes widen as if he has suffered a great betrayal.
He leans back and starts looking at the glass in his hand. Although he tries not to show it, his lip purses slightly.
You raise your eyebrows slightly, trying not to let his sweetness get to you.
He’s always pulling these cheap tricks.
And you always fall for them.
This time, you rest your arms on the table and lean toward him.
"Love.."
You draw out the word as you look into his sulky eyes.
Who could have imagined that he was a hybrid who had lived for a thousand years and turned everyone's life into a living hell?
As soon as he hears your soft voice, one of his eyes twitches and his chest heaves with a deep breath.
You don't need to force him to give up.
You reach out and touch the hand he is using to hold the glass.
The moment he feels your hand, his eyes widen, and he instantly drops the glass and grasps your hand.
As he holds your small hand in his palm and strokes it, he clears his throat and turns his head to the side.
"You broke my heart.. Forgiving won't be easy. Y'know that, don't you?"
You smile at the moody tone of his voice.
You looked how gently he strokes the back of your hand, cradled within his large palm.
The contradiction between his words and actions makes you laugh.
It warms your heart to see the most powerful creature in the world, acting like a kid in front of you.
You gave her a blank look. You knew you were probably being too rude, especially to Bonnie. You and her were always the closest but recently you'd been kept at arms length from everyone including Bonnie. And it made you angry- you knew about the supernatural Caroline, Bonnie and Elena told you in vague detail. And in all honesty it hadn't surprised you all too much. Your town was weird and always sprinkled with magical energy.
But what had annoyed you was how much they kept you away. Everyone made sure you knew slim to nothing about anything going on. Even when you walked into a room everyone went silent in hopes you wouldn't question anything. You didnt understand because as far as you were concerned elena was still human and even with all the supernatural around protecting her she almost always wound up in the hands of danger.
Did they think you couldn't handle it? Or that you aren't strong enough to protect yourself or anyone else?
"Y/n you know its not like that-"
"Well it sure feels like it Bon. We used to do everything together tell everything to each other. Now i feel like more of an outsider than Damon and we don’t even like him"
Bonnie wore a sad expression at your words. It was initially her idea to keep you away from the supernatural because you were almost like a sister to her and everyone close to her always ends up hurt or dying.
"I promise you y/n you don't want to be apart of this-"
You cut her off with a scoff "That's not your decision to make and you know that. I'm not some damsel I'm no less capable than Elena or Jeremy. I'm not asking you to put me on the front lines Bonnie. I just want to know what's happening with my friends and if i can help then let me do that"
Bonnie looked away from you deep in thought. You watched every second reading her like a book. She sighed "fine, if you come me and care will tell you everything-" a smile broke out on your face "but- you have to promise me you will be careful." She said seriously
You frowned knowing you were putting her in a tight spot and she gently grabbed your hands "y/n please. Don't make me loose my best friend too" you pull her in for a hug "i promise ill be careful. I swear it. You swear too"
She laughed "i swear" she hugged tighter letting out a breath that you knew meant ' okay I'm really doing this'
When she pulled away she smiled "ready to get bossed around by Caroline?"
You'd been assigned by Tyler (of course he'd be the king of the entire operation) to fill the art room with so many balloons you were afraid to ask how he acquired all of them. Luckily he carried the heavy helium machine to the room for you because there was no way you'd be able to do it on your own.
"Good luck and- don't get caught" he smirked at you. You rolled your eyes flipping him off as he walked away with a chuckle. You look around at the dimly lit room and sigh "senior prank night… finally"
You got to work, pumping up balloon after ballon. Somehow finding yourself color coding them just to keep it interesting.
After about thirty minutes you were a little less than half done and your fingers sore from toeing the balloons "gosh he couldn't have given this job to soneone who could get it done faster?" You muttered to yourself as you got back to work.
Just as you finished tying another balloon Caroline barged into the classroom, scaring you out of your crouched position thinking it was a teacher. You calmed down when you realized it was just Caroline letting out a releived breath and pressing your hand to your chest feeling your racing heart below your palm "jeez Caroline maybe try not to take the door off the hinges next time"
Caroline wasn't amused by your joke, in fact she looked terrified making you tilt your head "Caroline whats-"
"We have to go, like now. No questions just come on."
The look of absolute fear on her face made you spring into action following after her as she raced out of the room at a pace that you could match. You both ran down the hall way and Caroline stopped with wide eyes like shed heard something. "Caroline wha-" she covered your mouth with her hand looking around feverishly.
Her eyes landed on the bathroom and grabbed your wrist, not caring to be too gentle. She pulled you into the bathroom and into a stall, closing and locking it.
You weren't sure what you were hiding from but if it was enough to scare Caroline then you knew you should be terrified. And terrified you were. Your whole body trembled suddenly feeling super cold and restless.
"Caroline please tell me what's happening" you whispered with a shaky breath. Her blue eyes landed worriedly on you. "There's too much to explain. I swear i will when i get you out of here but there's no time"she breathed before opening the stall door and pulling you out.
You followed without a thought.
She led you out of the bathroom carefully listening to make sure the coast was clear. When she was sure it was safe she started running "okay come on" she muttered intertwining her hand with yours to make sure you kept up.
Your heart was nowhere close to calming down. You tried not to let your mind go haywire while keeping up with Caroline, but your breath was slowly becoming harder and harder to catch. 'Caroline wait-"
"Were almost there just keep going"
"Caroline i can-"
In front of the two of you appeared a man. He was beautiful. Blonde hair, blue eyes and a dangerous smile. "Caroline, my dear you're supposed to be helping Bonnie. Instead you defy my Orders for-" his eyes landed on you and his smirk fell flat.
He almost looked surprised Ike someone had knocked he breath from his lungs. Caroline positioned herself in between you and the man, pushing you back she shouted your name "you need to run!"
So you did. You turned the way you'd just come from and ran for your life. You heard tussling behind you, something hitting a row of lockers but you didn't look back. You knew Caroline was capable of protecting herself.
You turned the corner and ran until you reached the gym where you knew there were other kids doing prank night. Except when you go there it was empty aside from Stefan, Elena, Tyler and two other students that you weren't familiar with.
You let out a breath when you saw them, until you saw Tyler unconscious on the ground. You gasped "Tyler-" you looked between Elena and Stefan "what happened to Tyler!? Is he dead!?"
You move to check on him but was pushed harshly by Stefan making you fall to the ground. You looked at him with wide eyes "Stefan what the hell are you doing he's-"
"He's fine for now but you why do you smell like him?" He asked accusingly.
You looked to Elena, she too was confused but said nothing. You looked back at him "what the hell are you talking about. Smell like who?"
Stefans jaw clenched "klaus" he said in a low voice.
Klaus. You liked that name, and it must've belonged to the man from the hallway. "I- i don't know Caroline and i ran into him in the hallway and she told me to run so i did" you looked between him and Elena practically begging for an explanation.
He stepped towards you "you're lying"
"Stefan-" Elena stepped towards the two of you to stop him from doing whatever it was he was thinking.
He held his hand up stopping her in her place "no Elena, his scent is all over her" he eyed you angrily.
Fear coursed through you, making you scoot backwards "i don't-" suddenly Stefan was pushed away from you and halfway across the room. You and Elena let out loud gasps. Now in front of you was klaus, he turned towards you and crouched down. Holding his hand out "You okay love?"
Her heart thuds in her chest. But its no longer from fear, she felt safe and all of a sudden… shy. His gentle blue eyes and pretty accent made your face warm and you felt the unnerving need to answer him "I'm okay" you said quietly as your hand settled in his.
He smiled, dimples on full display and your breath caught. He helped you to your feet, before placing you in front of him almost like a statement. And to you it felt so right, which was scary.
He placed a hovering hand on your back as he looked to Stefan who now stood in front of Elena in a protective stance. Klaus clicked his tongue "I felt the undying urge to rip your throat out when i heard the tone you took with her" he paused, the biggest smile spread across his face, looking back to you "but i assume since i have had yet to lay eyes on her until i saw her with Caroline i assume you all are well aquatinted and well… i want to make a good first impression"
Stefan's face contorted into confusion "since when do you care about good impressions?" He asked. You looked around at everyone "wait a second- will someone clue me in here?" You said.
You looked at klaus for reasons unknown to yourself and he smiled "have they not told you about me?" He looked at Stefan smile growing cockily "wonderful"
Stefan rolled his eyes "drop the riddles Klaus how'd you get your scent all over her?" He asked
Klaus shrugged "i guess now is a better time than ever-" he turned to face you completely. "My name is Klaus Mikaelson, i am the original hybrid and you, are my mate"
You take a step back in shock, "mate like… like soulmate?" You asked. Klaus smiled "something like that"
"I thought those were rare. Like one in a million kind of rare." Stefan said
Klaus rolled his eyes "i am one of one Stefan. Those odds do not apply to me. I've searched a mellinia for you. Who could've know everything i needed was hidden in this little town."
You smiled, heat consuming your face again. The idea made you unnervingly giddy. You had a soulmate and he was here and apparently the most powerful man in any room he walks into which multiplied his attractiveness by a tenfold.
Elena called your name making you look over to her "you don't have to do this. You can chose your own."
You scoffed "what would you do if it was you and Stefan. You wouldn't blink an eye. My soulmate is standing in front of me and you want me to walk away?" You felt almost angry at the implication.
"He killed Jenna!" She shouted angrily. You swallowed harshly "and I'm sorry for that but it doesn't change anything. Elena I've never had anybody. Not like this and i thought it was because there was something wrong with me. But now i know i didn't need anyone else. I'm not just gonna let that walk away from me." You grabbed his hand feeling a sudden protectiveness.
You looked over to Klaus to see him trying to hide his smile. you looked back at Elena "i want this. I need you to be happy for me and accept it because i would for you"
Elena was torn but she knew you were right. By time th sun rose Tyler was a hybrid, and you hadn't left Klaus' side.
He took you to his house with your permission of course and let you ask as many questions as you pleased.
"How could we do this. I'm only human and I don't know if I want to be like you. I don't even know much about your world." You asked
Klaus approached you but kept his hands to himself. He wasn't going to rush into anything with you. "I wouldn't do anything you don't want love-" he promised, and you smiled thankfully "However there is a small matter bothering me."
Your eyebrows raised in wonder as he took a seat next to you. "Do you know of any wolf decent in your family"
You shook your head with a shrug. "I mean I don't really know my parents. I was raised by my grandfather but he passed three years ago and I've been on my own since."
Klaus blinked shock covering his features "you've been alone for three years?" He asked hating the mere idea of it.
You smiled "no need to worry. I mean I grew up here I know everyone and they knew me. I was the one paying the bills after he got sick so not much changed other than the lack of his company"
At your words Klaus was sure about two things m. One, you would never spend another moment alone. Two, you were more than likely of wolf decent or truly just one of a kind.
After a month or so you and Klaus were inseparable.
"Oh come on. I feel like I haven't seen you in weeks. I get your in your honeymoon phase but I'm your best friend I need attention too" Bonnie complained to you over the phone.
You laughed "I know Bonnie I'm sorry. I'm just super happy right now and… that's not an excuse. How about me, you, Caroline, and Elena have a sleepover? Assuming she's not still mad at me?"
Bonnie sighed "she's accepting. Doesn't mean she likes it though. Also doesn't mean we can't all still be friends you didn't choose to be mates with Klaus"
You nodded even though she couldn't see. "Exactly! Even though I wouldn't chose anyone else." You said as Klaus entered the room a knowing smile playing on his lips.
"Talking about me love?" He teased pressing a kiss to your forehead. You roll your eyes "wouldn't you like to know" you smile.
You hear Bonnie groan over the phone "well I can see that this conversation is over. I'll let care and Elena know about the plans. See you later."
"Okay, bye love you."
"Love you more" she responded and hung up.
Klaus raised an eyebrow as he wrapped his arms around your waist "should I be worried about being replaced?" He joked.
You shrugged "I wouldn't try your luck. You're not getting rid of me."
He pulled you tighter to him "I would never hope to"
a/n: just realized that i’ve never wrote for my hubby klaus, so that changes todayyy!!!!
song here
IT ALL STARTED with your back hitting the door.
not harsh—just firm enough to make you gasp, just enough to let you remember that Klaus never asks when he can simply take. his hands framed your face, thumbs dragging across your cheeks with a softness that absolutely did not match the hunger in his eyes.
“you really thought you could neglect me?” he asked, voice velvet-dark. “play with your little obsessions while i sat by patiently?”
he leaned in, brushing his nose along yours, tender, intimate…
but his body pressed into you hard enough to make your breath stutter.
“but look at you now,” he whispered, lips grazing your lower one. “shaking for me.”
he kissed you slowly at first.
savoring you.
like he’d waited for this.
his mouth molded to yours, warm and soft, thumbs stroking your jaw like you were something fragile, precious. and then—your fingers threaded into his hair, tugging—
he broke.
instantly.
the kiss went from gentle to starving, his hand sliding down your side and gripping your thigh with a low groan that vibrated through your whole body.
“you don’t get to do that to me,” he growled against your lips, hips rolling just enough to make your breath catch. “make me gentle and desperate at the same time.”
“you decided that, not me.” you mumbled out breathlessly.
his fingers slipped under your shirt, tracing up your stomach, slow, teasing, sending shivers racing along your skin.
“there she is…” he murmured, lips brushing your throat, kissing, biting just a little. “my sweetheart who melts the second i touch her.”
his hand cupped between your thighs—firm, perfect—drawing a broken sound from your mouth. klaus chuckled, dark and smug.
“you’re so wet for me,” he whispered, kissing the corner of your mouth. “and all i did was speak.”
then—roughness.
he lifted you, effortlessly, walking you backward until your back hit the wall again. his hips pinned yours, exactly where you wanted him, grinding slow and deep.
“wrap your legs around me, love.”
the way he said it…
not a request.
a command dipped in honey.
you obeyed instantly, and he smirked like you’d just given him oxygen.
“there we are,” he murmured against your jaw. “my good girl.”
his fingers slid under your underwear, and he groaned—actually groaned—when he felt how ready you were.
“christ…”
his forehead fell to your shoulder.
“you want me to ruin you, don’t you?”
you nodded, breathless, and he laughed softly, the sound warm and wicked.
“then ask nicely.”
you whispered his name, barely above a moan, nails digging into his shoulders.
“again,” he said, voice low and dangerous, fingers circling you in slow, devastating strokes. “say it so the whole bloody house hears.”
“klaus—please—”
that broke him.
his mouth crashed onto yours, teeth scraping your lower lip, his fingers working you faster, deeper, until your head fell back and your thighs tightened around him.
“look at you,” he whispered, watching your face with blown pupils. “falling apart on my fingers. you’re so perfect.”
you whimpered, close—so close—and klaus' lips curled into a proud, devastating smirk.
“that’s it,” he encouraged, kissing down your neck. “let me feel you come for me. i want to hear every sound you make.”
his fingers pressed exactly right, and you shattered, trembling in his arms, nails dragging down his back. klaus held you through it, murmuring praise against your skin.
“beautiful.”
“just like that, sweetheart.”
“i’ve got you.”
“my girl.”
and when you finally caught your breath, he pulled back just enough to look at you—eyes dark, lips wet, chest rising and falling with restrained hunger.
“i’m not finished with you,” he said softly.
“but i wanted the first one to be gentle.”
he leaned in, brushing your lips with his own.
“the next,” he promised, voice full of wicked heat, “will not be.”
