I thought I was complete, and needs nothing anew Feeling like an eagle that fly high in the sky Until the day you came, and shows me what is true That I am a flightless bird, a dreamer in the night.

I thought I was so brave, a warrior in the flank Like a mighty warlord on the battles I roar Until our sword clashes, and make me feel thy fright That I have a fragile heart that breaks on your site

I thought I was so smart, to know everything you like Thinks like a seer who see, conclusions up ahead. Until the day you spoil, the things that I assume Are not just enough, and needs time to go through

But despite what you have shown, I’ve learned how to grow I may be a flightless bird, yet can stand with might You opened up my mind and show me who I am I may be incomplete, but with you I can strive

You have shown me my fears, and offer me your hand Embraced me with your arms, and promised forever You have shown me your heart, with a love so pure All I need is your love, and all I need is you
