Why do they tell us That heaven is better then hell? Because let me tell you, I've been through some hell. And I've seen heaven in your eyes. And maybe I'm selfish, Or an idiot, Or both. But when I look at heaven, And I look at hell, Both seem pretty bland To the life I've been given with you. The colors of this world, May not compair to those in the beyond, But the colors of love and emotions In your eyes, Beats every flower in any garden. Heaven or otherwise. And your hugs and your smile, White out any burning star, Or any angel or demon. All of the spaces in your spoken words, Every line of literature you write, Every moment you breathe, Wipes away every single moment Of heaven, Of hell, Of limbo in between. The creases of your eyes, every flick of eyelashes, Every single fucking moment of you. Just you. You. It's washes away every moment of time That I could ever want of heaven. So why do they say, That heaven is better than hell? If heaven is you. And you are life.
