i was thinking about when i was a kid everything was so massive.

a minute was forever, a meter was a mile, old people were really, really old.

i walking across this gutter at school one time and almost fell into it. then i thought about how some little kid is going to have to be carried over it and will for the longest time, think of it as a massive hole in the ground.

and then one day they’ll come back to see it’s actual size and swear that it got smaller.

perspective is an interesting thing.
