Lots will debate if Brody loved C, but think about 3x12 v 5x12. Brody was pretty cold & indifferent to C 3x12, vs 5x12 in which the "last" words from Q & the season were "I loved you", as he had about died to save her. Gansa is such a CQ shipper.
Surely nobody would argue Brody loved Carrie more than Quinn does? (That is a rhetorical question, I’m not inviting Brody talk 😷 )
Oh and totally agree with you, Gansa is total trash for his ship 😂
Rita, I just listened to your married spies podcast episode 2 again & so many of your predictions for 5x12, happened in 6x01, Carrie bringing home Quinn, caring for him, etc. Also it was super funny, how 5x12 was nothing like anyone predicted!
I know! We are expecting a check from Alex Gansa any day now for breaking the season so wonderfully for him. But it turns out im not terrible at predicting the shows storylines for the most part, its just impossible to predict the pacing.
5x12 is just such a weird beast. I think it was impossible to predict that they would write the “quinn almost maybe gets killed by carrie” thing because it was like nothing the show had done previously. They’re not big on cliff hangers so it was hard to predict something so out of left field - and i hope they never try it again because I think it was a bit of a flop. A lot of people got mad and quit the show. Not worth the gamble Ganas.
