the ordeals of toast-making
this morning, I decided to have toast but I put the toast in the wrong place so one side got burned and the other didn't cook at all and I think it actually caught on fire a little bit, so I put that slice in the bin. then I made 2 more slices of toast but I overdid them slightly so I ate the edible bits and used the burned parts as hand warmers for the 10 minutes it took to make four more slices of toast. those ones turned out fine, but we're out of white bread now.
