I just saw /r/TheRedPill for the first time the other day. It absolutely sickened me. However I feel like reddit gets more and more like The Red Pill everyday. I can’y spend more than an hour on that website without becoming majorly pissed off.
I'm pretty new to reddit, so I'm not an expert. But I've found some subreddits are pretty cool (like the merlinbbc *cough* *cough*) and I'll admit that usually I go looking for trouble... thus my exploration of (and subsequent banning from) the red pill.
At first, it sickened me. But the more I read the more totally LAME it all seemed. I mean, these dudes go on and onnnnnn about "alphas" and "betas" and "omegas" and "unicorns" and "hamsters" and "watch all the betas rush in and be white knights hahahah" and "I'm such an alpha" "no you're a total beta" "no YOU'RE a total beta!" and so on and so forth.
They're constantly grounding their "arguments" in "biology" and it's just. So wierd. It feels like I'm reading some kind of furry forum. Or maybe a really strange omegaverse fanfic that has no porn in it.
The red pill women is just as bad - a bunch of ladies nodding along to this whole view of men, women, and sex that's just so... backwards. I've spent very little time on this subreddit comparatively, but at first glance it seems like they're suffering from the "I'm not like other girls" mentality
