honestly for comics it’s real radical because every one has 100 phds to prove their the smartest. and then the academic world doesn’t listen to them worth shit because mulitple phds means you’re an expert in NOTHIng. So honestly people with 100 phds are just unfocused and like doing doctoral work. they’re rich usually so the university is willing to keep taking their money.

kadrey has great world building, i’d be real interested in his hellblazer. writing a full length novel isn’t always the best format for him

That was probably the best part of his Lucifer run. He got a good set up from Black with heavy ties to original comics and imo he finished it really well.

He’s got at least one 3 issue arc for The Hellblazer. No idea if he’s gonna continue after that or is it gonna be similar guest spot like what Tim Seeley got. We’ll see if they keep him or change yet again in February...
