Rewatching PLL to reset my 7B-riddled brain

So I’m rewatching PLL from the beginning to get over the huge disappointment that is 7B, I’m just gonna pretend like everything after the CeCe-reveal never happened.

SO ANYWAY I kind of hate the whole Ryan Gosling in The Notebook-vibe they try to give Toby in the later seasons, but season 1 Toby really tugs on my heartstrings (the gif above isn’t mine, btw, credit goes to @pllrose). His friendship with Emily is seriously the cutest. I think it’s kind of sad how later on in the series their friendship is shoved aside for all this romantic crap. I mean I love me some Spoby as much as the next girl but can we PLEASE have some interaction between people who don’t see each other naked all the time like it’s their job?

i just read tobily may happen?? it’ll be the happiest day of my life because i love spoby so much but the truth is that before spencerxtoby happened i was so frustrated about emily being gay because i wanted them together! their friendship it’s my favorite too, though
