I’m embarking on a journey to blog daily. The inspiration for this comes from Seth Godin who evangelises its advantages.
I believe the biggest advantage of daily blogging is the amount of DATA that can be obtained and analysed. So what I want to get out of this experiment is to gather enough data on my thought patterns and musings. I want to see how much I’ve grown in my thoughts and ideas. I want to see how much my writing style has changed since I started this daily blogging practice.
This is not the first time I have done this experiment. I have done it in the past and abandoned it half way through.
This time I will be doing it slightly differently. Since it’s my blog and here’s how I’m going to set up myself for success:
Daily write-up of a minimum of 50 words.
Multiple drafts of blog posts are allowed.
Schedule daily posts at a set time.
Aim for posting one post a daily rather than perfecting the post.
Now the ground rules are set. Let’s crack on with the journey.
