Startling a vampire was never a good thing. Catching them when they are just finishing a hunt and their senses are sensitive... even more so. She was jumpy and on edge. The simple noise or tap of the shoulder had her whirling around and tightly holding the other’s throat, not immediately registering in her mind who it was.

I think we all are. I just want it to be done.

I’m Canadian and even here we are all terrified for what this might mean for our neighbours and the rest of the world.Today was so tense at work because everyone was already tracking the election.
