ToCall No. 20

Ruth-Wolf Rehfeldt died on February 26, 2024 at the age of 92 – with this special issue 44 artists and poets want to say goodbye with their work. All appropriate submissions have been selected to give everyone the opportunity to pay tribute to Ruth's work and life – so this issue of ToCall is a double edition. The traditional one-word poem on the front cover is based on the piece “Concrete Architecture” by Ruth Wolf-Rehfeldt.

This issue is Green – in all its diversity.

Look what 21 poets and artists associate with the colour green?

The one-word poem on the cover is made by psw using the corporate fonts of the "Bündnis 90/Die Grünen" party in Germany.

ToCall No.16 - the CRISES issue featuring works by 20 + 35 artists and poets. 

Everything is crisis all around the world - it unsettles, paralyzes and makes fear of the future. This issue contains contributions on how to perceive, identify and transform these crises.

In response to my call, I received many more submissions than I can print in a single issue.  But because it's so important to be and stay connected in times of crises, I've decided to publish all the submissions this time: So there's an additional online edition this time.

The one-word poem on the cover is made by psw. The magazine is printed with my mimeograph duplicators Gestetner 320 and Gestetner 160 on old typewriter paper made in GDR. Mimeo printed edition of 130 copies, February 2022.

ToCall No. 11 is a special issue addressed to alphabets and alphabetic works of concrete poetry - features works by 18 artists and poets.

The cover page is guest-created by jwcurry (Canada). Delighted with the idea of the traditional tlaloc/tocall one-word poem he made this piece using his self-made quadrabet.

ToCall No.6 - the women issue

This issue features only contributions from women – to celebrate all those women, the world over, who are creating great concrete poetry!

The traditional one-word poem on the cover is based on a poem by Ruth Wolf-Rehfeldt. The title of the original poem „Sammlung/Streuung“ fits well with what we are doing with this magazine: collecting works and spreading the word.
