"No, Sammy. You and Cas are... in a time out," he decided.
Castiel tilted his head, his dewy blue eyes looking up at Dean, "Is that trouble?"
Sam pouted, "Yeah... Dean's a big meanie!"
Dean frowned, "Quiet! Both of you, shush! I can't take it anymore! All day I've been screaming my head off at you two because you don't listen!" he started pacing the room, "Sam, how many times have I told you not to run? Hm? And Cas, you've knocked Sam down too many times. And every time I yell, you talk back! Especially you, Sam. I thought I raised you better than that. So now you two are in time out until I feel you're ready to play again."
Sam and Castiel were both staring at the screaming adult. And their little toddler hearts couldn't take it so their eyes welled with tears and in the next instant, they were both crying.
Dean paused and looked at the two of them. He sighed, rubbing his temple. Yeah, he did go a little overboard. So he went over to the crying boys and knelt in front of the couch.
"Hey hey... shhh, I'm sorry. I'm sorry, guys," he reached out to pull them into a hug but both kids pushed his hands.
Dean looked surprised, trying to think of how to reconcile this. He smiled a little at the thought that popped into his head, "Hey! Shh, no crying! No more crying. Do you want him to come?"
Castiel sniffled, wiping at his eyes, "W-Who's him?"
Dean tried not to grin, "You don't know who he is!? He's the guy who comes around just to make little boys stop crying! And if you don't stop, he's gonna come and get you!" he formed his fingers into claws.
Sam was now too invested to focus on crying more, "H-He is?"
Dean nodded, "Yes indeed! Oh no, I think he's coming!" his hands reached out and started clawing at Sam and Cas's bellies, "You better run!"
Sam squeaked, pulling at the fingers. Castiel laughed immediately at the quick touch. The toddlers looked at each other before climbing off the couch and running through the bunker, Sam letting out joyous squeals.
Dean smirked, standing up and waiting for them to get some ways away before he started chasing, "T-The monster's coming! He-He's taking over! Rawr!" he growled, arms outstretched.
Sam yelped, "Ruhuhun, Cassy!"
The two barged into the nearest bedroom, Sam scrambling to hide in the closet. Castiel didn't think he could fit as well so he dove under the bed.
While Sam was having trouble keeping in his giggles, since he remembered this game and where it would lead, little Castiel was shaking under the bed. He had real fear in his eyes, not knowing how much of this was a game. It started out thinking so, but now he was genuinely concerned for Dean.
Dean burst through the ajar door and continued growling and snarling to keep up the act. Castiel cowered under the bed, seeing Dean's socked feet standing in the doorway.
"Now... where did those little munchkins go?" Dean grinned, keeping up a menacing voice, "Maybe under the bed?" he smiled.
Castiel gasped, covering his mouth with his hands after. Dean chuckled and he knelt down before sliding his hands under the bed, "Come out, little guy! I found ya!"
Castiel squeaked, "N-No! Bad monster!"
Dean now looked under the bed, seeing the terrified little angel. He felt bad, "Awww, I'm not a bad monster, am I? C'mere!" he reached more and grabbed Castiel by his ankles, pulling him out and swinging him around before plopping him on the bed.
"I'll show you that I'm not a bad monster," Dean smiled, his growly voice becoming more natural, "Do you know what kind of monster I am, Castiel?" he looked down at the toddler on the bed.
Castiel stared at Dean with big blue eyes, "U-Uhh... no."
"Do you wanna find out?"
Castiel gulped, "N-No."
Dean chuckled, "Wehell too bad, I'm gonna show you anyway!" and his clawed fingers started to wiggle when he lowered them onto the little angel's sides. Castiel squeaked and he burst out giggling.
"Nohohohoho, Dehehehean!"
"Who's Dean? I'm the Tickle Monster," Dean grinned, growling again as he vibrated his fingertips on Cas's tummy.
"Tihihihickle mohohonster, nohohoho!" Castiel laughed his little heart out.
Dean chuckled, enjoying seeing this little form of his older friend and noticing how the face was the same when smiling or laughing.
"Cas, tell the tickle monster where you're super duper ticklish," Dean grinned, crawling his fingers up to Castiel's ribs.
"Nohohowhehehehere!" Castiel fought back with a giggle.
"I thihink you're lying to me," Dean grinned.
He slowly slid his hands down to Castiel's chubby thighs. He squeezed without restraint, and Castiel went nuts.
Sam could hear all of his friend's laughter from inside the closet and he giggled while listening, peeking out of it a few times.
"STAHAHAHAP DEHEHEHEAN!" Castiel laughed.
Dean chuckled and stopped, "Dohon't get too comfy, I'll be right back," and he stood up, flinging open the closet door.
"Youhu thought you were sneaky, Sammy? I could hear you laughing this whole time," he scooped up his baby brother and started to nibble on his neck as his fingers wiggled on his belly.
Sam threw his head back, "Dehehehehean!"
Castiel sat up on the bed, watching Dean bring his new prey over to the bed.
"Still ticklish, Sammy? I knew it," Dean grinned, worming his larger hands under the little child's arms, brushing against his armpits.
"AHAHAHAHAHA! DEHEHEHEEEE! NOHOHOHOT NIHIHICE!"
"Nohot nice? And I dunno who this Dean guy you're referring to is," Dean grinned, leaning down and burying his face into Sam's belly. Sam shrieked and burst out laughing as soon as the older brother rucked up his shirt and started blowing raspberries.
"You need some of these, too, Cas," Dean chuckled and grabbed the other one by his waist. He now had both toddlers laying down beneath him as he switched from tummy to tummy to blow raspberries.
What Dean didn't expect was for there to suddenly be two fully-grown men below him the minute he was going to give Cas his dozenth raspberry. Dean paused and looked up. They all exchanged confused looks before Dean stood upright, clearing his throat.
Sam and Cas shared grins before pouncing on Dean. In an instant, he was the one that was treated like a child and tickled silly. He guessed Crowley found the cure faster than he thought he would.
