Experienced Mom: Been there, done that, got the toothbrush-shaped trophy. 😉

Frazzled Mom: Help! My 2-year-old throws a FIT every time we go to the dentist. 😫 Any tips for making it less traumatic?

Experienced Mom: Oh, I feel your pain! My little one used to scream like a banshee. 😂 A few things that helped us:

Practice at home: Let your kiddo "brush" their stuffed animal's teeth or yours. Make it fun and silly!

Read books about the dentist: There are some great ones out there that can make it seem less scary.

Choose a kid-friendly dentist: We found one who specializes in toddlers and has a super playful office.

Bring a comfort item: A favorite toy or blanket can work wonders.

Bribery: Hey, sometimes a lollipop after the appointment does the trick. No judgment here! 🤫

Frazzled Mom: Oh my gosh, the bribery idea is genius! I'm totally trying that next time. 😅

Experienced Mom: You're welcome! And remember, it gets easier. Before you know it, they'll be asking to go to the dentist just for the stickers. 😉

Toddler Brushing Made Easy

This past weekend we celebrated our little baby’s impending 3rd birthday. It fell on Dad’s birthday so it was really a birthday celebration for both of them. Anyway, we had a blast and I definitely want to shout out to my amazing neighbors to thank them for shutting down our street so 20 or so toddlers could run around freely from house to bounce house and to partake in bubble gun fights and pinata fun without worrying about beach traffic. More on that on a later post!

The reason I’m writing is because we received a wonderful gift from our friends at Bentgo. You may recall I wrote about them here and here. Well, they’ve done it again with another great product that just launched last month: Brusheez!
