I just think that this is so freaking sweet how Todoroki is not a people’s person and he prefers to be alone (and before Midoriya he didn’t participate in any shit), but then you can see how he’s really trying to be more social. And if he can’t go or have to leave or smth, his first priority is to let Midoriya know. And it’s kinda funny, but really really cute. Because you can see how he stands aside in a room full of people in silence and you can just feel his pain lol.

Like I’m in no way saying that he doesn’t care for anybody else, it’s just you can clearly see the main reason he’s there and to whom he “owes an explanation”. And I know we all laugh at his “Midoriya and everyone” thingy, but I’d seriously bet 1000$ that if Midoriya weren’t there, he would’ve stayed in his room forever. And as a person who wouldn’t trade my alone time for anything, I can really appreciate his sentiment.. I mean, he must really like him, because seriously... a room contest???! I’m still laughing at his “permission to leave from his bae” xD
