Charmed.
Her cheeks were flushed. Her mind was constantly wandering. The day out with the girls and wine left her needing something to bring her back to reality. Their last stop was at a little bakery. The rest of the girls ordered first, and then, it was her turn. He peeked around and got her attention; "Can I get you something today?" he asked. She gave him her order, then at the last minute, decided to get a latte as well. Throughout their entire interaction, he had a charming smile and never adverted his gaze. She was entirely oblivious. He rang up the total, and she gave him her card. Upon signing the receipt, she thought something was off. He charged her for less than half the amount for her order. She took a step back and spoke softly with the girls. They instantly told her that he fancied her and clearly may have wanted to get to know her more. Every moment she caught his gaze, she smiled back and thanked him once more before leaving the bakery. The girls sat around outside to talk and take pictures. Their final decision was to take a picture right in front of the bakery shop. As they left, she peered in through the window of the door once more, and at that moment, she noticed him looking right back at her. They both shared one final smile as she slowly turned and walked away from the bakery.
