Most of the time, I'm pretty conscious about what I eat. But then other times, I just ... I guess "indulge" is a decent way to say it.
Like, I ate white cheddar cheese popcorn for breakfast yesterday morning.
And when I indulge, most of the indulgence happen in K-town. What's a better indulgence than eating damn straight meat?
However, the Korean food we chose to have on the Chinese Dragon Boat Festival was different from the generally perceived "Korean BBQ." (Don't ask me why we chose to eat Korean food for a Chinese festival. I will tell you coz we think global.)
Toe Bang is in the famous/infamous Chapman Plaza, where you could only valet and valet takes forever.
It is more like a Korean Bistro, a half-open restaurant with long wooden tables, where friends could chat over alcohol and very tasty (and yet very unhealthy) dishes.
We ordered fried chicken, cheese corn, skewers platter, and some pork soup I think. Every dish was very delicious. And when you order soju, they'd give you fresh lemons, and a device for you make lemon juice. And the two go really well together :)
At the end of the meal, I felt really satisfied and really guilty, thinking about having salad for an entire week.
And yeah, I know, this place has a weird name :P
