٠ ࣪⭑ hunter is 12 when he’s appointed golden guard — he’s 17 when they go to the human realm in season 3 ٠ ࣪⭑ luz was in the demon realm for 1.5 years, so the events of The Owl House took place over a 1.5 year period BEFORE the day of unity ٠ ࣪⭑ the current year in my DR is 2023
✦. ── BACKSTORY
٠ ࣪⭑ Belos took me in after discovering i had chaos magic (like Wanda Maximoff type powers) and that i was half human. i'm basically an orphan. he convinced me that wild magic killed my family (it didn’t, he did) and that i could help get rid of it and stop it from harming other people
٠ ࣪⭑ i train side by side with Hunter to be a coven scout, eventually being appointed as the “Silver Scout” when i’m 12, and Hunter gets appointed at the same time when he’s 12 too. we get appointed in January of 2019
٠ ࣪⭑ Hunter and i have never seen each other's faces as we always trained with the masks on and we were too scared to break the rules and take our masks off
٠ ࣪⭑ eventually time goes on and i start becoming more withdrawn from him and he’s like “oh she’s probs just tired! yeah…!” but the actual reason is because i'm becoming suspicious of Belos
٠ ࣪⭑ when Hunter is 13 and i'm almost 13, i figure out what actually is happening and Belos’s plan — November of 2019 is when Belos realises what i know and tries to confront me, but i'm already running to the portal to the human realm
٠ ࣪⭑ he beats me to it, we fight, i injure him heavily, but eventually he stabs through my chest with a tendril
٠ ࣪⭑ he thinks i died and he leaves my body outside the portal, but my magic keeps me alive enough that i roll through the portal and manage to disguise myself as a human before i lay down on the pathway and draw glyphs beneath myself to drag myself on to it which then heals me. i then run away and hide myself
٠ ࣪⭑ a few days pass and Hunter becomes anxious about my lack of presence and asks Belos and he’s like “unfortunately she died on her mission”
٠ ࣪⭑ HOWEVER
٠ ࣪⭑ during these 4 years, i was still living in the human realm. i was able to use my magic to disguise myself as a human and for 3 years, i hopped around from household to household, thieving, and doing anything to survive.
٠ ࣪⭑ when i was 15 in June of 2022, after Luz had been "sent to the camp", Camilia went shopping where i attempted to pickpocket her. unfortunately i was caught by her and i attempted to run away and she caught me and took pity on me. she offered me a place to stay as long as i needed to and i accepted
٠ ࣪⭑ 3 months after (mid to late August of 2022), Vee arrived. everything with her got revealed and she lived in her true for around us. Camilia and Vee explained the demon realm to me and i acted as if i didn't know what it was
٠ ࣪⭑ i lived with her for 1.5 years and got a job, learnt to drive, and never told her about what happened to me in the demon realm. i manage to keep my disguise up as a human and Camilia called Luz and introduced us quickly to each other
٠ ࣪⭑ August 2023 is when Luz knocks on the door and its revealed she's trapped in the human realm with Hunter, Willow, Amity, and Gus — the start of season 3
٠ ࣪⭑ Hunter and i don't recognise each other, although his voice is familiar to me, but i brush that off. i'm shocked to see witches in the human realm (that aren't me) and Camilia's like "witches, like Vee and i told you about!" and i just pretend i know nothing about the demon realm
٠ ࣪⭑ during the whole time i've been living with Camilia, i've never let my human disguise down
٠ ࣪⭑ when Hunter is possessed with Belos on halloween, i save flapjack from being killed. the rest of the events unfold except i'm the one to heal him that is when its revealed to everyone that i'm a witch
