Summary: Willow wants to show Hunter her new spell!
The tone of Willow’s voice shot a chill down Hunter’s spine. Oh Titan, what did she want now. Still, he shouted, “Coming!” as he turned off his stitching machine and ran outside where the girl was calling from.
Willow waved to her friend to come over to her. “I wanna show you a new spell I learned!” She explained.
Hunter was still skeptical as he reached Willow. The latter noticed this and quickly eased his nerves that it wasn’t a harming spell. Not that Hunter was scared Willow would ever want to harm him, but you just never know with the young witch.
“Okay then. What’s the spell?” He asked impatiently. He loved Willow and all, but he really wanted to get back to making his 5th wolf hoodie.
Willow smiled as she made some quick movements with her hands. While she did, a blade of the red grass grew abnormally long.
Hunter was a little confused. “That’s cool, Willow, really. B-But couldn’t you… uh… already do that?” He stumbled over the question, trying his best not to accidentally insult her.
“Well I mean, yeah, but I was never able to do it one blade at a time though!” That’s when the ex-guard noticed that there were 9 more singular blades of grass surrounding him that reached just about his height.
Hunter looked at the tall grass in awe. It always impressed him whenever Willow did something new. “Not only that, but watch!” Willow then moved her pointer finger up and down, making one of the blades of grass look like it’s waving at Hunter.
The latter chuckled and waved back at it. “Woah, neat!”
Willow’s smile turned more into a smirk as she said, “Thank you! And best of all, I can do this!” She said as she used the magic to make 2 blades of grass quickly go over to Hunter’s ears, tickling them lightly.
Hunter was not expecting this. He gasped as he tried not to laugh, but the tickling on his ears making it difficult. “Willow! Cuhu- Cut it ohout! That tihi- hehehehey!” he stuttered out. He shot his shoulders to his ears and swung at the plants.
“Ah, ah, ah~! Can’t have you doing that, Hunter!” Willow curled her other fingers, making the remainder of the grass blades wrap around the boy’s arms and hold them out to his sides, so he was holding a “T” position. Doing this also left Hunter completely exposed.
The sudden vulnerability made Hunter incredibly flustered as his cheeks burned bright red, the colour quickly moving to his ears. And what good of a friend would Willow be if she didn’t use this as an opportunity to fluster him further?
“Aww, Hunter! Your ears are red! It’s like they're screaming at me to tickle them!” Willow cooed, using the grass to trace around his pointy ears, occasionally dipping it into the blond’s ears, making him cringe at the feeling.
“WIHihihillow! StahahahAHAP IHIHIT!”
“Why should I? Because it… tickles?” Willow giggled when her friend let out a gasp at the word, as if attempting to hold his breath would stop the word from making his face heat up further. “It’s hilarious how much that word gets to you! Like come on, Hunter, it’s just a word! A very cute, and fun word!” Willow chuckled, clearly enjoying this just as much as Hunter was, “come on Hunter! Say it with me! Tickle tickle tickle tickle tickle~!”
“ShuhuhUHUT UHUHUP- Wihihillow! Mahahake them stohohoHOHOP!” Hunter shook his head to try and dislodge the plants, but to no avail.
Willow let out a few more giggles, not even bothering to try and hold them back to seem ‘more menacing’. Hunter just had the most contagious laughter, how could she not?
She moved the grass to now tickle all around Hunter’s neck, paying special attention to under his chin.
Now Hunter shrieked.
“WIHIHILLOHOHOW! NAHAHAHA- QUIHIHIT IHIHIT!” Hunter’s laughter went up another octave as Willow used two more blades of grass to go up his t-shirt and tease his ribs.
“Oho my titan! Hunter, how high can your laughter go? Every time I think it’s peaked, there’s always another level! Maybe it’s because you’re so ticklish! You might just be more ticklish than Luz!” Willow giggled, “Tickle tickle tickle!”
Hunter didn’t know how much more he could take. The light tickling of the grass over his neck, ribs, and now stomach making him squirm and cackle.
After around another minute of loud laughter, and teasy remarks, Willow stopped after she saw Hunter smacking the grass around his arms as a way of tapping out. As soon as Willow let him go, the blond fell to the ground, one of his arms immediately wrapping around his torso, the other up at his neck to rub out the residual tingles.
Willow sat down beside her friend, using a blade of grass to tap Hunter’s shoulder, “Hunter? Are you okay?”
Hunter let out a small squeak at the feeling of the grass and immediately scooted away, “Gehet thohose menaces ahawahay from me!” He yelled, not actually mad at the situation as his smile was still wide, showing off his tooth gap. Still, Willow listened, and reversed the spell, causing the blades of grass to shrink down to their original size.
“Whahat was that fohor anyways?” Hunter asked as he finally sat up to look at Willow.
Willow’s cheeks flushed a little, and she began to play with one of her ponytails. “Well, I noticed you’ve been pretty stressed out recently. I thought it would be nice to hear you actually laugh again. For both of us.” the brunette explained, fixing her glasses, “You know you don’t have to be scared anymore, right? We’re back home now, and we’re under the creator’s protection. On top of everything, we can visit the human realm whenever we want! Which means we can see Luz and she can see us whenever we want!”
Hunter’s smile faded slightly, “I know, I guess I’m still a little scared that I’ll end up like…” he sighed, as if the words were physically painful to say, “like my uncle.”
Willow’s hands cupped Hunter’s face. “Hey, you’ve proven so many times that you are nothing like him.” Hunter’s smile returned, much softer than the toothy smile before, but still just as there.
“Thank you, Willow.” Before the girl can respond, they heard thunder from a nearby cloud. Willow got up, offering her hand to Hunter as she helped him up.
They spend the rest of the day together, the rest of the gang joining after the acid rain settled.
It’ll take some convincing to prove to Hunter that he isn’t a dictator like his uncle, but Willow was willing to prove it to him, time after time until it finally clicks. And it doesn’t matter how long it’ll take.
Hunter is forever grateful that he found such caring friends. With them, he knew he’ll be feeling better in no time.

A/N: bro I haven’t watched this show in so long I’m scared I’m not doing it justice now :(
It started with a soft, buzzing feeling beneath her skin.
Amity had been unfocused lately, staring into the distance, fidgeting, flinching at any touch, always glancing over any time somebody laughed around her with a distant look in her eyes.
It hadn’t been that bad before, but she knew what it was.
A lee mood, something she hadn’t gotten since childhood, when the twins used to pin her down and tickle her all the time.
She had forgotten about all of that, but now..her skin feels like it’s on fire, her heart is constantly too fast, and she’s been much more clingy and giggly around Luz lately. It was nice, of course, but it confused Luz. Amity had always been nervous to touch her in any way, even holding hands normally flustered her out of her mind, but she had been clinging to her like there’s no tomorrow.
After a few days of this tormenting buzz beneath her skin, she had excused herself and ran upstairs, sitting in the nest in Eda’s room. She hugs herself, desperately trying to rub away the tingles.
“Dang it, Amity, get a hold of yourself..”
She mutters, eventually giving up and just sitting there, zoned out. After a few minutes of being unable to focus on anything but her craving for tickles, she sighs and starts thinking of ideas of how to satisfy the lee mood instead of ignoring it.
Then she remembers. She can basically create tiny little monsters, who says they can’t be tickle monsters? The tricky part will be figuring out how to make them tickle her.
She begins forming small abominations, she messes around with them and gets one to slightly tickle her side, the hands too gooey and uncoordinated to wiggle like a humans fingers would.
She pouts slightly, but still gets a soft giggle out of it. She gets rid of it and tries again, focusing mostly on how it moves its fingers.
This time, it manages to snake its sludge hand beneath her shirt slightly and tickle her exposed tummy. She squeaks and covers her mouth. that’s better, but still nowhere near enough for her.
She squishes it and gets rid of it again. She’s getting better..
She tries to make one with claws, an attempt at a sharper, more fluttery tickle. The previous ones had felt more like gooey nubs running against her skin instead of fingers. She tries it out, but the claws retract from the pressure of pressing against her skin, leaving her with the same, semi-ticklish feeling.
She huffs in frustration. She’s gonna have to perfect this, if she’s getting lee moods again, she needs something to help.
Luz had eagerly skipped up the stairs, not having seen Amity for about two hours.
“Sweet potato? Are you okay?—“
She opens the door to Eda’s room and pauses when she sees the intense look of concentration on Amity’s face, working on an abomination. She had been so focused that she didn’t hear Luz’s joyful call or her entrance. She quietly shuts the door and watches, curious as to what she could be so interested in.
Amity gently lifts the abomination onto her lap and sits back, watching it with a slightly anticipatory gaze. Luz watches with fascination as it lifts its hands. What’s it doing?
The abomination turns its hands into soft, gooey drill-like hands and presses them into a space between her ribs, spinning and vibrating in a tickly manner against her skin. She squeaks and bows her head, letting out quiet giggles. This was her best one yet, but still..this lee mood was awful, and this barely helped.
Luz watches from the corner with an adoring gaze, completely enamored with Amity’s little tickling abomination and her quiet giggles. Why was she making abominations to tickle her? Does she want to be tickled?
Luz steps closer after Amity squishes this abomination, and this time Amity hears her. She swivels her head to see who it is, and practically jumps out of the nest.
“L-LUZ!! Hi, baby! W-what..when did you..come in?”
Luz grins at the bright red blush that bloomed across her face at the sight of her. She’d always found that adorable.
“Long enough to see you making personal ticklers. What’s up with that?”
She hops into the nest beside her and leans against the rim, gazing at her curiously.
“I-I..you’re seeing things, sweet potato. I think you need a nap. Why would I ever make abominations that would..do that?”
Her eyes narrow slightly at Amity’s aversion to saying the word ‘tickle’, but she doesn’t call it out. Yet.
“Hm. Am I? Because I’d say it’s pretty plausible considering how you’ve been acting lately. Seems like somebodies in a lee mood~”
She scoots closer, making Amity’s heart flutter with anticipation.
“I am not. I’ve been acting perfectly normal, thank you very much.”
“You literally bolted when Hunter came over the other day and tickled my side for a millisecond. Trust me, I know what a lee mood looks like, sweet potato.”
Amity goes silent, just maintaining eye contact, a flush creeping up her neck.
“…and if I am..?”
She asks quietly, flustered out of her mind already.
“I could tickle you. If you ask~”
Amity’s eyes widen.
“Luz…no, please don’t do that..”
Luz grins and scoots closer. She gently pins her beneath her and straddles her waist, rolling up her shirt and hovering her hands above her pale skin.
“Go on. You know you want tickles, so just ask me to~” She playfully taps her fingers against her stomach, not ticklish at all, but just enough contact against one of her tickle spots to drive her crazy.
Amity’s lip twitches upwards slightly, the anticipation visible on her expression.
“..I-I can’t say it..”
She whines and covers her face, embarrassed.
“I know you can do it, baby. It’s just me, don’t be embarrassed~.”
They sit in a tense silence for a moment, until Amity’s lee mood becomes way too much to handle from the anticipation.
“..fine, fine!..please..tickle me, Luz.”
She instantly cringes and buries her face deeper into her hands.
“There we go. That’s all you needed to do~”
Suddenly, Luz’s nails are fluttering up and down her exposed tummy, pinching at her ribs. Amity squeaks and abruptly uncovers her face to grab Luz’s wrists, in no way attempting to push her off, but just keeping herself steady and composed.
“EHEEHEHAHA!! LUHUZ EEK—HAHA!”
She lets out squeaky giggles and twists her hips side to side, subconsciously squirming away from the maddening sensation, but making an effort not to actually try and get away from her girlfriend’s mischievous tickles.
Luz brings one hand down to gently squeeze her knee cap and flutter her nails against the sides of the knee. Amity instantly jerks her leg from the sudden touch, unable to keep her leg still despite being careful to not knee her.
“G-GAHAHAHA!! NAHAT THE KNEE! EEHEEK!”
She brings her hands back up to cover her face again, bright, bubbly laughter echoing throughout the large room.
Luz pulls out two of her plant glyphs and places one on both of Amity’s arms. Instantaneously, a smooth vine wraps around her arms from each side and connects at the wrists, wrapping around a wooden pole behind the nest and pinning her arms above her head. The vine then wraps downwards too and the end of each vine gently tickles her underarms, wiggling against the hollows softly.
She shrieks and bucks her hips, the sensations from all 3 areas overwhelming her senses drastically.
“EEHEHEHAHA!! BAHAHABY PLEASE NOHO ITS SO BAHAHAD!”
Luz grins, loving this adrenaline rush. She’s always been a huge ler, and getting to wreck Amity like this was amazing to her.
“Your laugh is so adorable, sweet potato, I can’t stop.”
She gently brings her nails from her stomach to her hip, drilling her thumb against the slight dip in her hip, a deathly sensitive spot on most of her friends. It’s an oddly common spot among those who live in the boiling aisle.
Amity shrieks and jolts away from the tickling, tears of mirth starting to form. She throws her head back and freely cackles, digging her heels into the surprisingly comfortable nest.
“AAAHAHAHAHA!! OHOHOHOH MY—EEEE!!”
She tugs at the vines pinning her arms in place, her stomach doing giddy flips with each tickle.
Luz continues staring at her with an evil grin, loving this tickle attack just as much as Amity is.
She runs her other hand around to the back of her knee instead, tickling insistently against the skin. Amity’s body finally goes limp as she just allows the intense tickles to continue, besides the occasional jerks from when a bad spot is tickled, she’s utterly still.
“EHEHEAHAHA!! O-OKAY, OKAHAHAY, IM DONE HEHEHAHA! PLEASE!”
Luz quickly slows to a stop, getting rid of the tickling vines and leaving Amity with just a gentle, swirling tickle around her stomach, Luz’s nail tracing a light circle over and over.
“E-Eheheh..you’re suhuch an evil ler..”
She lets out breathy, residual giggles.
“Y’know you can just tell me any time you want tickles, sweet potato. It’s really not that embarrassing. I’ve told people when I’ve gotten lee moods before. Or, if you reaallllyyyy don’t wanna, we could make some kinda signal.”
Amity nods, tired out from the physical excursion.
“Alright, that sounds nice..and, I can..do that to you too, if you’re ever in a lee mood. I have experience, even though I was normally the lee.”
Luz blushes slightly at the thought of being tickled by Amity, but smiles.
“Perfect. And baby? I wasn’t lying when I said your laugh was adorable.”
Notice how the little 'please' is the most vague? Yeah, that's because if he is ever to stoop so low and beg, he's going to be damn well quiet about it. Anyway, uh, I have no excuse for this drawing other than I have free will. Also silly wet cat boy.

~Oooh, been a sec since I’ve written anything TOH. It was a bit of a challenge to get back into their swing of things, but I like how this turned out. Thank you for requesting, and I hope you Enjoy!~
Lee: Amity
Ler: Willow
Summary: Amity’s in a lee mood, all her usual helpers not around to aid her. Luckily, Willow is there to lend a couple helping hands. Or rather, helping vines…
Warnings: none! This is a tickle fic, so if you don’t like that, scroll away!
Amity’s knee bounced in front of her as she sat on the couch, trying to appear somewhat normal. She’d been in one of those moods the whole morning, but Luz and Hunter had gone to the library for a comic signing. The two had been spending more time together, and Amity was all for it. It just made things harder for her at that moment.
Willow walked in then, carrying some lemonade she and Vee had made. It was just the powder stuff, but they’d added some blueberry juice as well. “Hey, Amity! You want some lemonade?”
“O-oh, sure.” She smiled as she took the drink, trying to stop her jitters. It was no use, though; her knee was bouncing again the moment she took her mind off it.
“Are you okay? You look…fidgety.” Willow sat beside her friend, her brows slightly pinched in concern. Amity usually wasn’t an antsy person, but she knew how far she’d let her problems spiral if they weren’t confronted head-on.
“I’m fine, Willow. Just…one of those days.” She wasn’t technically lying; it was one of “those” days, though she didn’t specify what “those” meant. The blue-haired girl wasn’t going to let that vague answer slide.
“Yeah, no. What’s going on?” Her tone was firm, yet caring. It made Amity feel a little guilty for hiding something so innocent from her, though the thought of saying it out loud made her stomach do a flip.
“Fine. I’m…” Amity sighed, feeling her face start to heat up. Her blush wasn’t full-tomato level yet, but it was still visible. “I’m in a lee mood, and Luz is out with Hunter today. I’m happy they’re getting along, but…well. Yeah.”
“Oooh, that’s all?” Willow smiled softly at that, an idea already forming in her mind. It had been a while since she’d done anything like that with Amity, but then seemed as good a time as any to take that next step in their rekindled friendship. “Want some help?”
Amity blinked, feeling the rest of her face pinken. Ugh, why did she have to blush so easily when she was in moods? “U-uhm, sure? Only if you’re comfortable.”
“Trust me, it’s no problem.” The girl raised her hand, a green ring lighting as she summoned a handful of vines. Amity’s face burned at the sight of them, a giddy feeling rising in her stomach. Oh Titan…
“W-Wihillow, wait-” Amity’s half-hearted protest was quickly cut off by her own giggles, a vine wiggling on the thin tank-top beneath her “Boo” shirt. The small plant was somehow very good at tickling, immediately making her squirm and giggle like a child.
“Wow, still works on you, huh?” Willow giggled as she watched Amity’s reaction, conjuring up a few more little vines to toy with the girl. It had been a long time since she’d been able to use the silly technique on the Blight, but it still worked perfectly.
“Y-yehehes!” Amity didn’t see a point in lying, leaning back on the couch as her fellow witchling’s magic continued to attack her. Willow followed her down, sending the extra vines to her personal favorite spot: Amity’s underarms.
“NAHAHAHHAHO! *snort* OHOHO MYHY TIHIHIHITAHAN!” The purple-haired girl was not expecting Willow to go for her worst spot so soon. The vines snuck under the warm fabric of her purple sweater, attacking the exposed skin beneath her arms. The black tank-top she was wearing beneath it did absolutely nothing to protect them.
“King’s not here right now, sorry. Just us,” Willow teased, sneaking a few jabs to the girl’s sides with her hand. Sure, she was using her magic already to be evil, but a few little pokes here and there wouldn’t hurt. “You still snort, too.”
“WIHIHILLOHOHOW!” Like she hadn’t noticed she snorted, the bully. Despite that, Amity was massively enjoying the tickling; the annoying buzzing in her stomach was gone, replaced with the chaotically blissful sensation of tickles.
“Yes?” She tilted her head innocently, acting like she had no idea what was going on.
Amity would’ve whined about that, but she was too busy laughing her head off to get anything other than the essentials out. Having your most ticklish spot attacked tends to make it kinda hard to talk.
“I-IHIT TIHIHICKLES! *snort* GYAHAHAHAHA!” Amity kicked her feet as a new vine settled on her stomach, that one teasing her navel. Willow narrowly dodged a foot to the face, holding back a few laughs of her own.
“Well, duh. That’s kinda the point, Amity.” Willow rolled her eyes fondly, acting exasperated at the statement. She might have been having more fun teasing Amity than actually tickling her. “You were dying for some, so that’s what I’m giving you, silly. Did you forget?”
“N-NAHAHAT THEHEHERE! *snort* MOHOHOVE!” Amity shook her head as she cackled, pleading with the young witch beside her. She could only take so much under her arms, and she wasn’t done with the tickling yet.
“Alright, alright. Since you asked so nicely.” Willow’s words were full of sass, but she did as she was asked, focusing in on the Blight’s belly. The two vines under her arms receded, disappearing into Willow’s sleeves. Only the two on her stomach remained, soon joined by the blue-haired girl’s hands.
“G-geheheez, Wihillow! Youhuhu’re mehehehean,” Amity whined, sucking in air between giggles. Her face was on fire with her signature blush, making it difficult to take anything she said seriously.
“I wouldn’t say I’m mean. Just efficient.” Willow giggled as she said it, spidering five fingers on either side of her tummy. Meanwhile, the vine in her navel continued to wiggle about, pulling little squeaks and the occasional hiccup out of the witchling. The vine that was in the middle of her stomach had moved, twirling lazily across her side.
“Thahahat’s nohot ahahahany behehetter!” Unable to hold back any longer, Amity grabbed Willow’s wrists and gave them a little shove. She wasn’t done quite yet, but she couldn’t keep her arms up.
“Oh, here: lemme help you with that.” With a smirk, Willow sent the vine on Amity’s side up, coiling it around her wrists and hoisting them above her head. There wasn’t any pressure, but she made sure Amity couldn’t escape the hold.
“Ihihi dihihidn’t ahahahask!” Amity weakly tugged at her wrists, her eyes silently thanking Willow for the help. She didn’t have to worry about holding back her squirms anymore, thrashing and twisting in the vine’s hold.
“Didn’t have to. I’m just that good, Blight,” she taunted, suddenly vibrating both of her hands into the girl’s stomach. Amity kicking out, squealing before dissolving into a wicked giggle-fit.
“GYEEEEHEHehehehehe! Wihihillohohow *hic* nohohoho!” Amity shook her head, little tears of mirth beading in the corners of her squeezed eyes. She couldn’t keep them open any longer, just blindly giggling beneath her friend.
Willow took that as a good sign to stop, slowly switching from tickles to gentle belly rubs. She dispelled the remaining vines, her magic slowly receding back into her. “You okay? Want some water?”
“Y-yeheheah, and yehes plehehease.” Amity took a few deep, giggly breaths as she recovered, relaxing from the soothing rubs. Willow was surprisingly good at tickle aftercare; then again, Willow was good at a lot of things.
“‘Kay. Be right back, tomato face.” Willow got one last crack in before heading to the kitchen, leaving Amity’s mouth agape. She wasn’t that red…
Oh, who was she kidding. She was as red as a sunburnt ghost.
Willow returned with a nice glass of ice-cold water, which Amity happily gulped down. The little cubes of ice clinked in the glass as she finished it, promising some more hydration when they melted a bit. Amity set the cup aside before meeting Willow’s gaze, her face somehow burning even brighter.
“H-hey, uhm…thank you for that, Willow. It really helped.” Amity’s voice was a little light from embarrassment, but she didn’t break eye-contact once as she spoke. “You’re a good friend.”
Willow beamed at the praise, a happy smile lighting up her already-cheery face. “Aww, thanks, Amity! I’m glad you trusted me with it.”
“Of course; you’re awesome.” Amity straightened herself out on the couch, scooting a little closer to her friend. Willow immediately met her in the middle, the two teens leaning against each other in a half-cuddle.
Amity sighed happily, relishing in the giddiness and warmth she felt in that moment. She’d have to ask for Willow’s help more often…

Good tidings for Christmas and a Happy New Year; hope you're having a wonderfully warm winter!!!!! 🍪🥛 I love you all!! /p
❄ "A drowsy morning dawns after a night of sleeping over at the Owl House with her girlfriend, and a half-awake Amity is cold. Unfortunately for her, Luz is the warmest thing around." ❄
Brrrr. Luz yawned and sat up as the mellow morning light filtered in through the window, casting a rectangle on the two girls snuggled on the floor. She rubbed at her eyes, the blankets shuffling about her, and smacked her lips as she came into consciousness. With a glance around her room, Luz’s eyes caught on the photos on the wall, the fur and feathers stuck in the rug, the cat-eared hoodie that she’d since hung up in favor of beanies and patched-up jackets.
And, of course, she took in her girlfriend on the sleeping mat beside her, gracefully situated as though posed for a calendar. The thick white covers piled up around her became snow to Luz’s groggy mind, her lashes crystals. Arm pillowed under her, Amity’s purple hair was splayed on her skin, locks sticking to her cheek. The sight was like a hug for her heart.
Suddenly overcome with a deluge of joy, Luz muffled a squeal with her teeth. Amity just looked so adorable with her lips parted and her pointy ears twitching slightly. Luz giggled and ran her fingers through Amity’s bangs.
“Aww, she still has glitter in her hair.” Luz thought back to the night before, when the two of them had wrapped gifts and decorated cards (protection spells, apparently, for their fellow witches, and a more normal but still heartfelt one for Luz’s mom). They’d come from an evening of ice skating, drinking hot cocoa, and fighting off the Slitherbeast when they’d accidentally disturbed it. They’d stumbled back to the Owl House with snow still clinging to their boots and had probably left their gear strewn all over the place. Oops.
Luz brushed Amity’s lilac bangs back with a happy hum and a recollection of how beautiful it looked with snowflakes caught in it, framing a radiant smile. She uncovered her girlfriend’s forehead and placed a noisy kiss there.
Amity stirred, face scrunching up like a cat’s. “Hrrrmmm… Luz…” she murmured. With a kick under the blanket and a wrinkle in her Hecate-themed pajamas, her cold feet scrabbled to find warmth against Luz’s leg. Her arm, securely thrown around Luz’s waist, circled more tightly.
“Good morning, batata,” Luz chuckled. She lowered herself on her elbow to look her in the face and tucked a lock of hair behind her ear. “How’s my beautiful~ girlfriend?”
“Grgh… sleepy.” Amity’s other arm snuck under Luz’s torso, both hands pressed against her shoulder blades to pull her flush against Amity. Luz let out an “oop!” and giggled as Amity’s strength made itself known, dragging her across the mat. “And cooold.”
“Then allow me to warm you up! How does cuddling and drinking hot cocoa by the fire sound?” Luz waggled her eyebrows. She didn’t think to mind the wandering of Amity’s touch. “Does the lady fancy tha– AaH! WahaHA sweeheeheet potahahatohoo!”
Hungry for warmth, Amity’s hands had snuck under Luz’s pajama shirt, and her nails inadvertently scraped against Luz’s spine. Luz jumped at the tingly sensation and buried her now flushed face in Amity’s shoulder.
Amity let out a relieved sigh. “Mmm… you’re warm.” She shuffled the both of them under the blankets until they were up to her chin, then nuzzled into the space between Luz’s arm and ribs. Luz lurched, sunny and bubbly laughter spilling from her lips. Heat spread to her neck; her sweet potato was more like a couch potato today. Or perhaps a sleeping bag burrito. Is Mittens this affected by the cold!?
“AhaHAHA mi lindahHAha! I knohohow I’m tohohoasty buhut it tihihihickles!” Squirming, Luz slipped against Amity’s nerdy silk pajamas and failed to escape her beloved’s hold. She snapped her eyes shut and squeezed Amity tighter, every motion loaded with jittery energy.
Gradually, Amity began to awaken the more she listened to Luz’s buoyant laughter, more potent than caffeine. At first she smiled along, then her brain caught up to her overeager heart and she instantly blushed to the tips of her ears. She pulled her hands out of Luz’s shirt with a quiet yelp; nonetheless, that didn’t stop her kneading into the back of her ribs.
“AHAhamitehehee! This is mehehehean!” Cheeks round with laughter, Luz snorted. She sounded all too similar to Eda.
Amity chuckled, golden eyes finally opened and glancing sideways at Luz’s smile. Her own laugh was low and smooth, like fine silk and rich honey. “Sorry, darling, I can’t help myself.” Earnest as it was, Amity flushed at her own confession. Her girlfriend was sweet enough to melt hearts.
Luz’s eyes popped open as Amity squeezed at her waist, her voice cracking into a cackle fitting for a witch. The doting from her girlfriend kindled the fire in her cheeks, though her heart was warmed more gently. While she sunk into the coziness like a plush bean bag, giggling and snickering at her behest, Luz was the type to return double any favor done to her. She caught sight of Amity’s reddened neck by her cheek and realized the perfect opportunity had been presented to her all along.
Mustering up her “Luzura” willpower, Luz pressed her lips to Amity’s neck.
As Amity shrieked and furiously babbled out protests, Luz congratulated herself with an internal “Score!” Amity’s wiggling fingers turned to lightly pounding fists on her back as Luz kissed up her neck to her chin.
“LUHUhuz nohohoHO! NahaHAT fahahair!” Gasping and squealing, mirth creasing the corners of her eyes, Amity melted like putty under Luz’s affections. “Nnkhaha I cahaHAhan’t!” In such a state of matter, she made it easy for Luz to lift her arm and press her nose in between her ribs, pleased at the healthy layer of fat she found there. Amity arched away, her violent struggling guided by instinct, until she successfully wormed out of Luz’s grasp and deeper under the covers.
Her head ended up buried in Luz’s stomach, to which Luz snorted and wrapped her up in her arms. Amity re-emerged after taking a moment to breathe. Pouting. Like a cat.
Her expression amused a smirk out of Luz. “Hey, you started it!” For a second time she kissed Amity’s forehead, the open and shut of the story.
Amity grumbled, “I was half-asleep,” then caught Luz’s lips with her own, absorbing her heat. Luz happily pecked back.
“So, how are you feeling now? Ready to be up and at ‘em?”
Amity chuckled, clearly still affected by the lazy weather. “I suppose.”
Stretching, Luz lifted herself from the blankets, immediately missing their cocoon as the cold air nipped her skin. Yet as she knelt by the window, she let out a gasp warmed by delight.
“¡Mira! It’s snowing!”
And it was a beautiful view, snowflakes gathering on the ground in powdery clumps, cradling lights of red, green, and gold and returning them even more vibrantly.
Amity joined her at the window, eyes twinkling in wonder. “Wow! It’s so– ah, wait, how do you say it… No, don’t tell me.” Amity paused for a moment as she recalled Camilla’s lessons. Luz silently encouraged her. “¡La nieve es bella!” She smiled and leaned against Luz’s shoulder.
Luz grinned, placing a kiss on Amity’s ear and pulling a squeal from her. “Not as beautiful as you.”
“Youhu sahahap!” Amity brushed Luz off, giving her another peck. All of Luz’s walls crumbled with the kiss, only for her hackles to rise again when fingers squeezed at her stomach.
“AHAhams! Wahahait!” Her lip wobbled as she glanced up at Amity. The competitive glint in her eye softened, but only to a glimmer.
“Oh, don’t think I’m done with you yet,” Amity promised as she released her. Luz was already beaming. “But let’s take this outside. I suspect we’d have a lot more fun in the snow.”
