Screen work... Bachelor of Performing Arts Management graduate (2013) Alexander Borgers is production assistant for Four Knights Film. While at Toi Whakaari he worked on theatre and was involved in Toi Film. 2015 Toi Film preview coming up next week.
These images are from two shows he worked on in his in his second year. A site specific devised work at the National Library called “Aki” as stage manager & set construction manager of the drama “Our Country’s Good” by Timberlake Wertenbaker. Part of the work for Alexander in his degree was to explore different genres and figure out what transferable skills he was learning from his multiple management and technical experiences.

Graduates, students and guests. ETNZ 2015 Conference - Big Steps Forward, at our building Te Whaea. ETNZ is an organisation that recognises and supports the technicians, craft persons and designers working in the entertainment industry in New Zealand. This conference has had the biggest turn out ever with people from venues, freelance, hire companies, students, training institutions, festivals & theatre companies from all over NZ.
