Initially, we opted to let our ID fabricate both toilets’ vanity cabinets. My FIL suggested we do the “old-school” kind, top-bottom concrete+tiles with sliding doors. I seriously didn’t sleep the entire night researching on toilet vanity options. I was possessed by a demon needing to prove to my FIL and wife that there are better options out there!
So we met with our ID again and I voiced out my concerns, showed him pictures I saw on IG/Pinterest/Blogs. Then he said: “Don’t fuss over the vanity, go to stores and have a look at their stainless steel designs, more lasting and easy to change in future too.” ---I seriously felt some weight lifted off my shoulders!
So we went to many shops, each time we went, it’s either they didn’t have the size/colour/design is meh~ or just outrageously priced. Daylight robbery at some shops! *Roll eyes*
Ms Foo was scrolling on Lazada again and sort of saw the design she liked and dimensions (80cm) I wanted. We went to the showroom to touch and feel the Rubine Vanity, it was not bad (TBH I just wanted to get over this liao).
We waited a few days because my wife doesn’t trust my measurements and she needed our ID to triple confirm before we place the order. I don’t blame her cos the 80cm Rubine Vanity is S$498 each on Lazada.
After confirming with our ID last weekend, my wife logged into Lazada and she saw OOS (Out Of Stock!) on the vanity. She looked at me with the “I want to bang wall face” and I’m like what you want me to do?
As expected, with rage mode on, she said: “I just don’t believe Taobao don’t have!”
Ms TB Queen eventually found a similar vanity sink/cabinet, the price includes a storage mirror, tap and misc accessories. FYI: We opted for the full sink. Finally can case close-ish. Still awaiting delivery from China.
