Hey! I completely understand your plight in applying to everywhere! I went through that last year. Ugh it sucks! Especially the internships that expect you to provide housing and transportation, but they also don't pay you. But I got my current apprenticeship by emailing my resume to someone that I knew. The theatre that I work at doesn't advertise all of their internships and apprenticeships, which sucks. But also don't be afraid of emailing the production manager or coordinator :))

I regularly get frustrated with the whole internship scam...I'm not looking at any companies with unpaid internships because I can't live on them. Frankly if they don't value my contributions to their company enough to pay me a living wage/help me live, they aren't worth my time.
