something that is like equally funny yet kinda sad to me is that toji is only in his early 40s like that’s not even that old but he truly never thought he’d make it past 20 so basically every single day he wakes up is a shock. but then he groans bc his back hurts and i’m groaning bc he snored all night and we go about our day

a thought that makes me giggle abt my age gap with toji is that megumi will tag along too to my family gatherings and my extended family will be like omg you’re so sweet for bringing your boyfriend’s dad along too! and toji is like …? my dad is dead

list of silly/stupid dad mistakes toji made in my selfship when megumi was little

sent him to school on picture day with his shirt on backwards

left megumi at a gas station for an hour on a road trip, claiming he didn’t notice he wasn’t in the car because “he was a quiet kid”

was told not to smoke with kids in the car so he’d make megumi stand outside of the car while he smoked

couldn’t afford body wash so he’d bathe megumi with dish soap

mistook dog treats for regular cookies and fed. dog treats to megumi (he was fine)
