Movie night :-3
Watching Willy Wonka and the chocolate factory (70's vers)
Which made me think if this headcannon for Toki!
So, as a child, Toki rarely ever left his home, he wasn't allowed to after all. Only a few times each year he'd go up to the town with his mother, whether it was for church related business, getting certain necessary supplies and such.
But when he was deemed "old enough", probably around 11-12, he was allowed to go into town by himself in the summer or early fall months. Often times, when permitted he'd be allowed to stay in the village all day and home before dark.
Since it was an old, and frankly poor village there wasn't exactly much to do, especially for a kid with no friends or connections in the town. But, there was an small movie theater set up in the town hall that played old movies mainly from the 50's to 70's. On certain days out of the month they'd play kids movies, old animated Disney movies and musicals, live action stuff like Willy works and the chocolate factory, Mary Poppins or The Sound of Music.
Toki loved all of these kinds of movies growing up, its where he got a lot of his imagination from, and thinking of them got him throught really horrible moments. They still even comfort him as an adult, he'll watch them in the living room if he wakes up from a nightmare and falls asleep on the couch
Toki doubles dni please
