Toki Update

So this happened today! 

For those of you who've been following, Toki has had some major adjustment issues since we got Westley (over a year ago!).  She just did not get along with her new little brother, and this caused her some emotional stress.  Toki began pulling out her fur, running and hiding, and generally became more nervous than she had been prior.

Well, tonight I sat down for a second to check something on my phone, and Toki jumped right into my lap!  This didn't happen much before Westley arrived, and hasn't happened since.  I was shocked to say the least, and indulged Toki in a back rub.  She seemed thrilled, and even purred!  I'm hoping this means we're turning a corner with her anxiety issues.

Some cats bring dead animals to their owners. My cat brings hardware supplies.  Toki carried this bag by her teeth all the way from Thomas' room, up the stairs, and across the living room before placing it at my feet.  She was very pleased with herself.
