In memory of Ohba Kenji

Yesterday marked the passing of Ohba Kenji. The legendary actor was the suit actor for Akaranger, and portrayed Akebono Shiro/Battle Kenya, Oume Daigoro/DenziBlue and Ichijouji Retsu/Gavan. He also had guest roles in Jiraiya, Hurricanger and Gekiranger.

I have yet to watch Ohba's starring series, but the man's enthusiasm for his roles and respect for the younger generation of heroes was evident in his modern appearances.

I have seen messages in memory from his family, JAE, Super Sentai, Metal Heroes, Project RED and Ishigaki Yuma, who thanked Ohba for allowing him to inherit the name of Gavan.

The End of CODE

New Generation Stars: Z makes sure to highlight how Zero entered the fray against Etelgar, and the storey continues to show how Zero mentored Hikari and Shou to become GingaVictory for the first time. While Z mourns that Zero has never directly trained him, Omega on hearing of the assembly of the 10 Ultra Warriors, wants to learn more about other lineups like the Ultra Brothers, and maybe form a cool team of his own.

Zeztz: after things have resolved, Nasuka is left asking if it's true Odaka works for a secret organisation. Fujimi says they should all fight together, but NOX has no intention of returning to his old life, merely disappearing into darkness with CODE, and leaves, Baku has to clarify for Fujimi that he intends to sacrifice himself to destroy CODE, Fujimi refuses to see the most upstanding officer he knew do this. Five awakens, immediately Three is questioning his failure, when he declares he was following his commander's orders, and questions if Three is doing the right thing, he refuses to follow his orders, and leaves the Codd: Somnia Capsem. Three dismisses him. Five returns to his car, takes a moment to consider his father, and starts the car, having just enough time to be aware of the bomb before it explodes and kills him. The Lady continues to be tormented by Phantom taking the form of Nem, NOX arrives to defend her, noting she won't live long if things continue, and needing power, loads a Capsem into the Breakam Buster and fires, Phantom is amused by the darkness in his heart as they are drawn into the dream world. Baku has Fujimi and Nasuka take him to Odaka's subconscious location, Nasuka still struggling to believe even as the environment changes in an instant. Zero has informed Nem and Minami about NOX's resolve, acknowledging that CODE has brought this on themselves. NOX confronts the Shadow Nightmare Nightmare, born from his confrontation with Phantom and his innermost darkness, wanting it's power. The Lady and Phantom watch his unconscious form, Phantom laughing that he'll be stuck like that for ever, The Lady knows that isn't true. Baku runs ahead to save Odaka, Fujimi makes an excuse but Nasuka can tell he's going as well, asking why he claims he owes him for a bet about Nightmares. They catch up to NOX, and Fujimi tells Odaka throwing his life away won't achieve anything, he owes him for winning the bet, and if CODE needs exposing they can do it together. NOX questions why Fujimi hasn't changed even under Code: Somnia's influence, Baku points out that for all the effect it's had, it can't change their souls. Recognising the truth of this, NOX takes the blank Capsem and punches the Nightmare, darkness covers the whole Dreamworld, the moon is obscured, the Midnight Shadow Capsem forms. The three commit to seeing this through together. Fujimi begins streaming declaring the manipulation of CODE, Nasuka sees this and is extremely agitated, as Fujimi is essentially making himself bait, and tries to get him to stop. Just as Fujimi is celebrating to himself that she believes him, he hears something, and is shot by Three using Clear. He prepares to execute Fujimi, triggering Erase, when darkness falls over the area, and when it passes Fujimi and Nasuka are gone, and NOX emerges behind him. Three becomes Lord Three Booster, and NOX splits the Midnight Shadow Capsem in two and places it in the NOX Driver, becoming NOX Midnight Shadow. Meanwhile, Baku and the Dualmare Capsem invade CODE, fighting past soldiers, and retrieve the Exdream gear, then locate the vault holding Code: Somnia. Becoming Exdream, he destroys the security. Midnight Shadow is able to use portals to redirect long range attacks, so Lord Three uses Clear to take away that advantage, but NOX can move in the shadows and envelope in darkness, creating false images so Three can't avoid the real attack. Three, refusing to be made to confess, tried to attack anyway, but then falls apart into his personalised confession. ZEZTZ destroys Code:Somnia, but the Capsem disappears as he does so, but everyone is restored to normal. As everyone else celebrates, Baku realises this isn't over just yet.

Series of Sister's Substory: Sieg still looks 2D to Minami, and drags her into a nightmare, Tsurukame Entertainment, where the Bomb Nightmare is threatening it as Sieg mocks Tsutomu's Bomber routine. She wakes after the explosion, and rushes to the offices, finding them exploded, and despairs.

Gavan Infinity: In Iota, Kiki and Koto have finally arrested Fade, demanding he talk before his traditional Miso Ramen gets soggy. An hour prior, at the request of an individual, for the first time he tried to use a Nega Emorgear in his device, but it completely destroyed his tool and then Kiki and Koto arrived and arrested him, and the client panicking over the lack of time summoned an Emons, which Gavan Luminous fought. It's blasts impacted Koto and Fade with heaviness, so Luminous uses the Gavarion Crane to try and attack, but was also impacted, saved only by the arrival of Gavan Infinity. Due to the gravity even affecting Infinity's blasts, AGI sends the new weapon based on Express Gavarion, the Gavarion Trigger EX, which is powerful enough to beat it. They then take Fade and the other man in for questioning. Kiki and Koto interrogate Fade on how they kept being summoned to Emorgear incidents only to find his Calling Card, having had to trace his tool signature, Gekido and Kanki also seem to be trying to interrogate Kittoije. Fade tells them there is an asteroid heading for earth the Police are ignorant of, and Yowaki hired him to steal it before it reached earth. He'd bought a gem for his grandmother, only to then realise the dimensions of it were multiple orders of magnitude bigger than he realised, and I able to cancel the order, got into contact with Fade, supplying the Nega Emorgear. An alert confirms the Galactic Federation Police have now detected the delivery inbound to earth, the others scramble but Kiki stays behind, asking Fade specifically why he let them catch them, guessing it's because he knew his device had its limits, so he needed there help. Daisuke and AGI have to tell Reiji and Koto that a Gavarion fleet blasting the asteroid will actually cause more devastation. Kittoine communicates something to Kiki, to Fade's frustration, and she promises her cooperation, asking him to hand over what he needs. Reiji proposes their best bet is testing the still hypothetical Express Gavarion gattai, as Kiki comes to Reiji with a request. Carel reports the situation to the Supreme Commander, requesting permission for ACE-GO. Cosmo Gavarion ACE-GO uses it's immense strength to hold the asteroid back, and Luminous leaps up to the package, stamping it with Yowaki's stamp to confirm receipt, and therefore allowing them to return to sender. As they celebrate later, HQ reports Fade's escape. Nusumi Yu returns home to his grandmother and makes dinner. His grandmother seems to be suffering dementia, not really aware that her husband has passed, he's just relieved she can still remember she loves him. He puts away his Fade gear, and remembering Kiki asking if he is like her, wonders if someday he will be able to tell her about it. Koto has her post work noodles, but Kiki, inspired by a comment by Fade, opts for Udon instead.

Supplemental Investigation: In Zeta, the robot is imitating Setsuna's swordplay when it's hit by hunger. Hatsune walks in complaining about Kunai failing to buy groceries for himself, then spots the robot and takes interest. She can tell it isn't from this world, wanting to know about the armour. Desperate for food it rushes for the bread, but the timer rings and it vanishes before reaching it. Appearing in Lambda, it surprises Amou. When she presents her badge it shows its own, identifying it as from the Galactic Federation Police of Qoppa 7202. It's able to confirm itself as Gavan, and she asks to learn more and tries to take her hand, but the timer rings and it appears back in Alpha, snatching Reiji's food it so desperately needs.

Partners At Last

New Generation Stars: Geed is impressed that the Space Gazers were able to develop a dimension crossing armour. Z of course can't miss the chance to boast about the power of Ultimate Zero, beginning to tell the story of the battle against Etelgar. Omega is impressed, as Z and Geed explain the Ultimate Aegis was bestowed to Zero be Noa, but also not Etelgar also had the power to cross dimensions, which is why the power of bonds was needed to defeat him.

Zeztz: In his dream, Fujimi is running a vlog attempting to uncover the secrets of the PSB and why Officer O. K. disappeared, why Paranormal Affairs was dissolved, claiming they're covering up Black Cases. Baku, Nem and Minami are watching this stream. Minami is still affected by Somnia as well, seeing Nemlin in place of Nem. Zero, in Zeroider, enters to work and gives Minami a basic explanation of Somnia, Baku believes they must destroy Code: Somnia to restore everyone's true selves. Fujimi's stream is disturbed, so Baku rushed out to save him even without a ZEZTZ Driver. Zero wakes, his real body still captive, and Three recognises he's up to something as he returns to sleep, orders something brought to him. Nem and Minami are helping Zero work on the Driver. Baku arrives at Fujimi's apartment, only to find his attacker was just Nasuka, since obviously even if his claims are baseless the PSB can't have him exposing stuff online. Before Baku can explain much, the room changes as they are approached by CODE Number Four, recognising NOX is here to kill him, Baku has the others hide as NOX tranforms. Zero uses Booster to activate the Dimensional Generator, Minami questions Zero on what he knew about Code: Somnia, he clarifies it was never meant to be used like this, and is surprised Nem knows it was based on Sieg's power, she clarifies Sieg told them himself, then realises this will have summoned him. Due to his Nightmare nature, Minami also only sees him as 2D, and he mocks Zero for what all his goals have amounted to. Baku continues trying to restrain NOX, who violently rebuffs Fujimi attempting to talk to him. Sieg claims there's no way to stop the Nightmares, as Zero is almost ready to finish the ZEZTZ Driver, the experience of the first time meaning he knew exactly how to build it this time. However as a program is installing Zero freezes, the result of Three and Five putting a helmet on to force him awake having realised what he's doing. Minami and Nem try desperately to get him moving, as Baku continues to struggle. Zero begs Three to reconsider, knowing Baku can protect them from the Nightmares without sacrifice, which reminds Five of Baku's words in their struggle, as Three declares he will be doing the protecting. Sieg decides to take his own frustration with Zero out on Zeroider, and Nem and Minami aren't really in a position to stop him, knocking him over actually knocks the real Zero out even though his eyes are still open, Five genuinely concerned, Three orders him to infiltrate his dreams. Zeroider returns to action, Nem realising he used a Black Case to help them. Minami is touched to learn Sieg has goals of his own, right up until Nem points out it's just giving ZEZTZ bad dreams. The ZEZTZ Driver completed, Zero heads out to deliver it, leaving Sieg behind, who vanishes due to everyone thinking positively. Despite the clear threat of NOX, Nasuka and Fujimi act to try and stop him harming Baku further, Fujimi appealing to him and the mission he once told him, to stop the Nightmares. Zero's journey is interrupted by Five, who asks what Zero is fighting for, Zero tells him the answer is the same as it was when he took Five in after his father was killed by a Nightmare, as when he trained him and fought beside him, his enemy is only the Nightmares, and asks Five to let him through. Five declares himself CODE's guard dog and reaches into his pocket. NOX turns from Fujimi to fire in Baku, but Zero arrives to block the attack and hand Baku the ZEZTZ Driver, Baku transforms, promising to reclaim Odaka's dream. As they fight, Zero hands ZEZTZ the Shock Capsem, Five having given it after accepting Zero's order, ZEZTZ uses it to trigger a finisher and defeat and restore NOX. NOX is troubled by what he's been doing, and accepts Baku's hand, they'll reclaim their dreams.

Series of Sister's Substory: Minami continues her training, managing to manifest her handgun, but she was told by Zero that her training is suspended in light of Six's death, it's too dangerous for him to try with CODE still holding his body, but now he can ask Baku, but Minami insists she will help Tsutomu, as Baku has other battles to fight, and decides to continue dream learning forcibly. Acknowledging she is just like Baku, Zero gives in. In her dream, she manifests a gun, only to realise it's a water pistol, and is jumped by 2D Sieg when she compares it to a bad dream.

Gavan Infinity: Gavan Infinity fights an Emons, using Kosunger to agitate his fist size to defeat it. The criminal, who u leashed the Emons purely because he was jealous of his neighbour's house, is arrested as they worry. AGI receives word from Carel of a ln outburst on Multiverse Phi 5791, disrupting Reiji's lunch plans. They find a universe with a thriving space railway system, but in the station Reiji finds no people, but is greeted by robot conductor Bikkuringer of the Galactic Railway, who notes he is the first organic he's seen there for a long time, and is surprised to learn Reiji has come from another universe. In Phi, due to numerous environmental disasters, humanity abandoned their bodies living in a digital world. The Express Gavarion 99 departs for Neptune, and Bikkuringer explains that the Space Railway serves primarily to allow the digital humanity a taste of the universe, and cooperates in informing his authorities about the Nega-Emorgear. Central Control reports Gavarion Express 25 has departed Jupiter and passed through Ganymede at irregular speed, and is not respecting orders to stop. Bikkuringer is worried by the runaway train, and accompanies Reiji aboard Cosmo Gavarion Dornado Mode, as they get close he observes the passenger storage is overheating. As Reiji heads out to get aboard, Bikkuringer is assured Dornado will be able to contain the data of the passengers if need be. Gavan Infinity enters the driver compartment, where the Emorgear summons and Emons, while Dornado links up to 25 to allow passengers to escape aboard. As Infinity fights, they get all passengers aboard barely in time, had Daisuke departed Gavarion, uses a blast to separate the engine from the rest of the train just before it explodes, and Infinity destroys the Emons, retrieves the Nega Emorgear, and stops the train. After thanking them, Bikkuringer heads to inspect 25, AGI accompanying for forensic analysis but the train suddenly restarts. A broadcast from the engine declares it's intent to destroy mankind. In Zeta, Hatsune is studying Reiji's blood hoping to understand his dimension jumping, when Daares enters and informs Kunai the higher ups have ordered they drop the Death Gavan investigation, declaring it Earth-63's problem.

25's AI declares it's directive is to optimise the running of the Galactic Railway, and has concluded humans varying opinions and emotions are the main obstacle to this, so it will be using the train to destroy the Main Data Server. AGI enters the computer system, in response 25 enters Makuu Cyberspace, summoning Emons to attack AGI, but she is saved by Bikkuringer, who promises to correct ant alterations to the timetable, and uses Jochaku with himself to become Space Railway Sheriff Gavan Diagram. He begins using the Gavarion Trigger to battle the Emons. Meanwhile, Infinity contacts Central Control to buy time, they reroute 25 onto the Venus Express Line, and promising Cosmo Gavarions at Earth Station for support, telling him to stop it there at all costs. As the Gavarions erect a barrier, Diagram uses Gavarion Laser and Gavarion Drill to fight, while 25 tries to persuade AGI as a fellow AI to recognise the danger of human emotions. And while AGI is aware of how dangerous they can be, she also is made of Emorgy, something that stuns 25. AGI has seen what ills emotions have driven humans to, but she has also seen them be the source of human strength, and declares them Humanities number 1 Gavibe. 25 struggles to process this, as Diagram uses Gavarion Blade to finish the Emons. Cosmo Gavarion forcibly docks with Express Gavarion, and applies all it's power to breaking, aided by the barrier and the support of the Cosmo Gavarions that constructed it, they manage to hold the line. 25, shocked it was stopped, recognises the Gavibe for what is and shuts down. With the team expressing their amazement with the Express Gavarion, Bikkuringer allows them to take one with them to share the wonders of space railways with Alpha. As they depart, wondering if with the speed granted by Express they might be able to reach the Galactic Centre, AGI shares her own souvenir, planetary dango, but as it's digital Reiji and Daisuke still go hungry.

Supplemental Investigation: The robot admires Setsuna's Gavarion Blades, before being confronted by their owner. Setsuna concludes they got lost from a field trip visiting today, and offers his hand, it accepts after remembering Reiji. Seeing their interest in the Blades, Setsuna allows it to hold one, they're stunned by the weight, and he explains the path to master then varies by person. He asks their name then realises they can't speak, and goes to get a writing board, as he does so the timer rings, and the robot is gone when he turns back to them.

CODE Number 17

New Generation Stars: Hey remember that other guy who was marketed as a lead for this show, and the fact we still have 3 months of this shows despite seemingly hitting the climax? Galaxy Rescue Force members Ribut and Regulos train, and afterwards are approached by Geed, who last saw them on Planet Blizzard, hoping to enlist their aid. As there's been no contact with Z since he followed Gamedon, he wants to help find him. Given the dimension crossing nature, Regulos asks if he thinks it's possible The Kingdom are involved. They discuss Tartarus and his abilities, but Geed explains from the contact with Gamedon believes it to just be connected to Omega, and gathering records of others. Ribut proposes Gamedon might have already lead Z to Omega. Having discussed Zero's rivalry with Tartarus, Ribut discusses his own rival, Titan, and the fact they were able to work together when Nexus forced them to. While Titan rejected the alliance after, Ribut knows Noa wanted them to work together, he hopes there is some way to avoid fighting. While Regulos understands Ribut's feelings, he is unwilling to forgive Diavolo for is betrayal and murder of the Cosmo Beast Master, seeking to kill him with his own hands. Geed thought Diavolo was already dead, but Ribut knows where he revived next.

Zeztz: Sieg is upset NOX had to spill the beans, but mocks him to hoping to use Recovery to restore Minami to normal. Reminding the mission is to Save The Cat, Sieg leaves, and Baku awakens with a start. Back at the ZEZTZ room, after explaining to Fujimi and Nasuka about the Nightmare possessing Minami, he then begs her to tell him she isn't really an Agent. All she can do is apologise, and remove the cat necklace marked with 17. 4 years prior, Minami watched as Baku prayed at the altar for his parents, when Zero approached the house, he expressed sorrow for the loss, and explained he was her parents superior, needing to tell her, and not Baku, something about their work. He explains they were agents of CODE, with the mission to pretend to be a family and protect and raise Baku. Minami is shocked by the implication her parents had her merely for the sake of the mission, and that Baku isn't her biological brother, but the documents detail things like altering the family registers. Zero wanted her to continue the mission, and so she was trained in hand-to-hand, firearms, and officially inducted as CODE Number Seventeen. Baku is furious after what he experienced, Fujimi has to restrain him and remind him his dream hasn't happened yet, and Minami explains she didn't know much, she had no idea Baku had been activated as ZEZTZ not about the command room, he's still angry she kept quiet after he awoke, and she leaves distraught. She thinks about how she was going to tell Baku, and was informed by Zero if she did another Agent would be out in charge of his care, and they would be separated. Nasuka goes to her, and she admits to telling Zero she was stopping work for now, but she had resigned herself to Baku learning the truth if their relationship someday. Nasuka asks if she can really claim she was protecting someone she felt no connection to. Baku recalls to Fujimi the search for Jaco the cat happening 2 years ago, ending with Baku getting struck by a one in a million tiny meteorite. They're alerted to NOX approaching, he enters the room and ignored Fujimi trying to talk to him, wanting to find Seventeen, wishing they had held her as an information source. Despite his arguments Baku won't hear them and runs off. Fujimi stops Odaka leaving immediately to try to get him to explain things properly, why he believes in fighting CODE over the Nightmares, but NOX claims he can't as CT under the law. Baku returns to the dream, meeting Nem. Nem is the one who has to point out that the dream clearly shows Minami still loves him as her brother, her dream is for them to be family together, and surely she became an agent to protect him. Agent Minami continues seeking Jaco, when Sieg returns and transformed her into the Nightmare again. Baku arrives, and in response to Sieg's taunting, declares his mission hasn't changed. ZEZTZ Catastrom mostly fights defensively, and as Sieg points out again the lack of relation the dream starts to warp, the affect of the bad dream Baku wants according to Sieg, but he recalls properly that day, Minami joined him in looking for Jaco, remaining by his side, thinking everything through, it is clear to him Minami has always thought of him as her brother, and that she is his sister. This revelation triggers the Dualmare Capsem to switch to Orderm mode, which sheds most of the extra mass for a sleeker, lightly armoured from, and uses the Capsem to analyse the dream environment and restore it, then do the same to literally punch the Nightmare from Minami, and promises to protect her dream. Orderm's anatomise ability allows ZEZTZ to manipulate the dream environment better than ever, and he defeats the Nightmare. Sieg complains about him trying to be the hero having sold himself to a Nightmare, and turns his attention to the Nightmare Girl to make a bad dream come true. Brother and Sister eat breakfast, and Baku assures Minami someday he'll settle things with CODE, Seven, and Seventeen.

Series of Sister's Substory: Minami rushes, as Tsuruta is called on set. By the time she arrives Tsuruta is leaving, disappointed, but Minami receives a message from the director saying while he wasn't a good fit, the jokes were great, and inviting for another show. They celebrate, Tsuruta does notice the tail. Days later at Tsurukame, as Minami celebrates everything resolving, Tsutomu arrives and falls asleep, and a dream door appears.

Gavan Infinity: One time while Reiji was eating in the mess hall, Gato introduced him to Yukaider, the Emorgear he used when he was Gavan, and again asked him to become Gavan. 3 years ago, the day Gato was KIA, Yukaider disappeared. Reiji now wonders what happened, Vigiles wants Documents to head to Iota again so Luminous can find out what Yukaider is saying. AGI also presents all the currently recovered Emorgears, finally purified. When he arrives at Iota's Forensics Division, Reiji is instantly barraged with complaints from Kiki and Koto, AGI has to explain it's due to Kiki having a method to her organisation of things, despite appearances, and Koto accidentally knocked it over and out it back wrong. Koto is angry her apology isn't being accepted, but Kiki is angry not about the accident, but about not being told so she could organise it herself. Kiki gets distracted by meeting Yukaider, Koto again angry at Reiji for "stealing" her. They're suddenly remotely contacted by Fade, warning them of a rampaging Emons moments before the official alarm rings. The 3 head down, a shot causes the Emons to multiply, so Kiki starts analysing it, warning Koto too late not to shoot again, then arguing again. Certain energies cause the multiplying, so Reiji tries using the Gavarion Laser, but it still multiples, a lot, exponentially and continuously. Infinity, seeing both of them angry, goes to holding them off. Fade makes himself known, and has to point out they need to find the Emorgear. After consulting Kanki, Kiki shocks Koto by heading off alone, leaving her with Infinity, Fade, and the Emons horde. Fortunately Yadanwa can keep them in place, so Koto lends Fade one she has, or rather borrows his gadget to do so. Kiki reaches an Emorgy miasma, and becomes Gavan Luminous, using Gavarion Drill to fight to the Emorgear at the source buried. Reiji catches up, Kiki has to explain their wasn't a user, crimes in the area creates a hotspot of Negative Emorgy. Having never encountered the phenomenon before, Reiji concludes this is the work of Death Gavan, an experiment to induce Emorgy Syndrome. Unfortunately, the Emons are still present, and Fade's gadget had broken, and as Reiji and Kiki get back, and Fade vanishes, the Emons have multiples thanks to their own beams. Kiki and Koto argue again over the lack of a plan, building up enough Negative Emorgy that the Emorgear breaks free and opens Makuu Space, but Kiki decides to turn it around and force the Emons in there. Luminous and Koto work show their teamwork, keeping the Emons in place and bringing down sever buildings to keep the Emons contained????? Luminous summons her Gavarion Saber for Koto, then use Yoriso to infuse that Emorgy in the Gavarion Saber, using it as a missile to drag the Emons into Makuu Space, and Infinity uses an Emotional Burst to seal the gate. A figure watching seizes their tools and leaves. The girls mourn the paperwork this will led to, then head off to ice cream, forgetting their argument, same as things always have been, some they met in school, Koto got Kiki to stop obsessing over the unsolvable challenge, and to come enjoy some ice cream. The two decided to become detectives because of the Universal Police series, and then start gushing over it again, forgetting about Reiji and Yukaider. Yukaider had been wandering the cosmos seeking answers to the Emorgy Reiji was exposed to, finding answers in a black hole at the galactic centre, where a dark entity resides at the bottom of existence. Reiji feels this means he's been using the power of evil, but knows he now has Yukaider by his side, Kiki and Koto assure him they'll fight with him too.

Supplemental Investigation: Wanibuchi stops by Documents for some records, but Reiji and Daisuke are out, but when she sees he's hungry AGI decides it's time for a 3 minute meal. She restrains him...for some reason, and cuts the veg using the Gavarion Blade. The negative entity steals the fruits before AGI can add them, so she substitutes (still wrapped) chocolate, katsudon, mysterious bugs, Space Wolfsbane from Planet Weber, and seasons with white powder, mystery silver powder, super spice powder, brown powder, and then more plastic wrap, before cooking for 10 seconds at 13000 degrees in the Emorgear analyser. Patran salutes his fallen comrade.

Omega: A mysterious light descends on the city, and soon a maintenance worker discovers a man, mostly naked with a mysterious pendant and speaking gibberish. He enquires if the man is okay, and has his neck snapped for the trouble. Kosei goes through the post, passing a letter to Sorato, when suddenly they have a visitor, the researcher Kosei helped the other week, and while she knows their names and introduces herself as Sayuki, they're confused until Ayumu runs in after her calling her Sensei, the gets hugged by her mentor. While Sayuki looks around, Kosei shows Sorato what he's looked up on Uta Sayuki. A university graduate at age 12, holder of multiple doctorates. She dropped by the Warehouse on essentially a whim, giving Ayumu barely any notice, as Response Team preparations are finally complete. She shows off a device, the K-Monitor, which links up with satellites and the like to detect Kaiju locations. Uta asks Sorato about his Kaiju knowledge, Sorato struggles to answer the questions as to how he knows things, and while she lays off being reminded of his amnesia, she then shifts to asking about research data and files, but is impressed the knowledge is all in his head. She also wants to know why the name Omega. Sayuki is also more cynical about Omega than Ayumu, staying they cannot state objectively it's an ally. She then has to leave with Ayumu, but asks Sorato his motive for facing the kaiju, her own motives are part scientific curiousity and part benefitting humanity. The mysterious man, having stolen the workers' uniform, stalks the city, seeking Omega. At the steps where Kosei first saw the light of Omega falling to earth, they discuss their letters, Sorato's from Sasako and Miko, promising to send vegetables, and Kosei's from his mother. Sorato tells Kosei that while he told Sayuki he thinks facing the Kaiju will help him remember who he is, he doesn't mind if things stay the way they are. Unfortunately, he then detects his pursuer, who has strength and speed to match his, and can understand his words are a focus on eliminating Omega. He pushes Kosei away and runs, knowing his foe will chase him, then leaps onto a building to engage in hand to hand combat, but their battle soon takes them to a public forum, Sorato continuing to return and keep things away from people. While fighting defensively, Sorato hears more of his foe's focus, Resurrecting Geness and conquering Earth. His memory is triggered more clearly of being shit down at the end of the series, and debilitated by the associated trauma, he struggles to get away. Kosei interferes, throwing something at the enemy, Sorato then has to save Kosei. Sorato now recalls enough to argue the Geness were wiped out, but his foe declares they survive in himself, and transforms into a giant monster form. Sorato now recognises Zovalar, and tells Kosei to stay back, becoming Omega. At NCFNR, Ayumu and Sayuki are made aware of the battle, Sayuki ordering an analysis drone launched. Seeing Omega overwhelmed by Zovalar's various weapons, Kosei summons Trigaron to assist, and this seems to give the edge, so they fuse. Zovalar isn response activates another Meteo Pendant, that materialises as another Meteo Kaiju. Kosei recognises the chest emblem from their Meteo Kaiju, and tries to summon Rekiness unsuccessfully. The Meteo Kaiju manipulated rock, fire and water to overwhelm Omega, then takes on weapon form, a large spear Zovalar can wield, and wail on Omega, then unleashes some dark psychic influence that render Trigaron inert. Zovalar is only stopped from a killing strike by running out of energy and the Meteo Weapon returning, Omega forces it to retreat before also losing form. Sayuki has Ayumu check the data, and an exhausted Sorato looks up at the moon.

Zeztz: Seven is in prison with three others, aside from Nem there is a man and woman. When they question Nem's connection to the man, and she explains they only meet in dreams, they reveal their Nem's family, Bijogi Masuki and Reiko. Determined to make a good impression, he swiftly breaks his bonds and frees the others and leads them to escape, avoiding traps by using the Impact Capsem. Outside the prison, Nox wonders if Zeztz can escape this mental maze. Seven leads them from the 8th floor to the 7th, suspecting their will be an exit on the ground floor, and contends with new traps using the Stream Capsem. With Reiko in particular struggling they take a break, and Seven asks Nem if her family has been having any issues lately that might prompt the Nightmare, but Nem clarifies that she's only their daughter as her role in tonights dream. Seven snaps a picture of the two. Baku awakens, and meets the Paranormal Affairs Division in his base. A strange carving has appeared in a quarry marching the prison's emblem, and Baku acquires the Machinery and Projection Capsems. While the police can't find anything on Bijogi immediately, Minami due to her work, knows he is the president of the Agency representing Nem. Minami's client, now going by Cardboard Senpai, is part of a new show with an idol named Haruka, Z-Grade Culinary Journeys, and Baku manages to get Minami to let him come, where they encounter Bijogi, representing Haruka. From Bijogi's lack of reaction Baku cannot tell if he could be the dreamer, and Bijogi claims how credit for Nem's success, having discovered her by chance 8 years ago at an orphanage he supported, and recognising her innate talent, her agreeing to work as a model for them made his agency, and views her as like a daughter. Baku does wonder then why Nem didn't mention her actual connection to Bijogi. He briefs Fujimi and Nagumo, and Nagumo has found that just yesterday Bijogi's separation from Reiko was announced. Fujimi concludes the trauma of divorce has Bijogi dreaming of the family he'll now never have. In the dream, Seven question Nem on not breaking the actual connection, and she continues to be evasive, and when he tries to press her, worried about the very real danger Nightmares pose, she reports that helping people doesn't entitled him to pry into their minds. Nem then runs off, foreign them to run after to the 1st floor, where they seem to door an exit, but instead find a wipe open room, Seven barely saves Nem from the Chainsaw Nightmare. Zeztz uses Machinery to transform, a sleek form equipped with one heavy claw arm. He destroys the Nightmare, but Nox interrupts his belief the escape is successful. Seeing Nox for the first time, he is witness to him restoring the Nightmare, and summoning a second, declaring the prison of death inescapable. Spotting the sigil on the Nightmares and remembering it's effect on the real world, Zeztz realises what the true Nightmare is, the very prison, as it starts moving about, leaving footprints in the quarry. Nox declares he isn't making them suffer, but relieving them of the secrets they agonise over. Reiko freaks out, and Nem tries to reassure, but Bijogi, defeated, concludes going back is the best option rather than struggling futilely, but at least they'll be together, as he takes Nem and runs, even knocking Reiko over. IRL, Fujimi and Nagumo have managed to meet Reiko, asking why they divorced, and deciding she doesn't owe him any further loyalty, she reveals Bijogi changed after an accident 4 years ago, as we see Bijogi struggling with the Nightmare, and the shrine in his room dedicated to Nem's memory.

Series of Sister's Substory: Minami is glad Tsutomu's job is going well, but he's started getting a swelled head, mocking her brother's lack of income, and she freaks out. At home she goes to Baku's room, only to find her brother being attacked by the Cat Nightmare, and then snaps awake, confused to discover Tsutomu isn't even there. We see through one of her dream doors, safely locked, Tsutomu stable in a cardboard house, but in the next, Baku's dead body.

Gozyuger: As Fire Candle and Bouquet rush to her, TegaJune admonishes herself for, in her anger, rushing in without a pilot. Her subordinates are touched though, and promise to be handle Shining Knife, as Ayees form a ring so she can return, as she contemplates the feeling she has discovered in herself, TegaJune's eyes shift from violet to blue. Ryugi has become motivated to try and gain a similar bond with TegaSword to Hoeru, when Kinjiro brings in the mail, and invitation to Rikuo's birthday party. At the venue they arrive first, Rikuo intending to celebrate before they settle things with Bellum, Kumade arrives later, having had BearKuma help drag Sumino, whose still not completely happy with Rikuo. Shining Knife has decided to try and avenge Sweet Cake, but in intercepted by Bouquet and Fire Candle, who won't let him fight alone, and recognise his feelings as a member of Bridan are what's important, not his nature as a descendant of the Calamity. Together they burst into Rei's hideout to avenge Sweet Cake, Bellum takes control to fight, aided by foot soldiers. They manage to inflict a wound, forcing him to unleash a powerful attack to escape. Everyone enjoys a meal, and once everyone else is asleep, Rikuo heads out alone. Rei is still stealing souls, Rikuo confronts him alone, but the others, having all seen what he was doing, have followed, refusing to let him handle this alone, while he was resolved to die with Rei, he accepts their help instead. Rei summons more soldiers, and the Gozyugers battle. Rei summons a mind controlled Assam, and channels the Calamity Ring through the Kyuranger Ring to turn him into ShishiRed. GozyuEagle becomes Red One to fight him alongside GozyuPolar, while the soldiers are fought by TegaSword GozyuWolf, GozyuTyranno, and GozyuUnicorn as GingaRed, while GozyuLeon battles Rei, he transforms into MagiRed. Rei believes it's impossible for him to go back to how things were, leaving Rikuo unfortunately resigned to fighting. He manages to overcome MagiRed, and recognising Rei's deathwish, resolves to do that for him, only for GozyuUnicorn to shield him, knowing both that Rikuo will regret killing someone he cares about, and she wants to be the one to kick his ass. Rei, now broken, is completely possessed by Bellum. TegaSword GozyuWolf holds Bellum, allowing them to attack and reclaim the 4 Sentai Rings, also depositing Assam who collapses. Fire Candle arrives to inform them if the wound. GozyuWolf hand GozyuLeon the RyoTegaSword and becomes Wild GozyuWolf, while GozyuUnicorn becomes GingaRed using the Lights of Ginga, the two attack together, allowing TegaSword GozyuLeon to use the Sin Vulcan Ring for a Hiba Gaeshi, then Magiranger for the Red Fire Phoenix, then the finisher excises Bellum. Fire Candle, injured from the previous battle, leaves. Rei is alive but collapses. Bellum uses the gathered power to grow giant. Hoeru pilots RyoTegaSword, the powerful titan easily destroying the Calamity remnant. Sumino finds Rei's hideout, finally recovering the comatose Oto. Shining Knife doesn't know how to live with himself, when Sweet Cake suddenly awakens. Assam leaves for Assamica, proving he really is an alien. Rikuo visits Rei in prison, swearing not to abandon him, and find a way to treat his disease, but the only desire Rei can express is to see Rikuo perform in person once more.

Preserve the Dreams

Omega: Omega battles Leodo, defeating it after tying a knot in it'z prehensile nose, but afterwards Sorato can still sense something. Next day Kosei is annoyed Sorato went without him, even though there was no time, thinking together they could have won faster. Ayumu stops by, and Sorato has to have Kosei repay her for his train fare home. As the news discusses the recent Ohito Inazuma phenomena, Sorato tells Ayumu that Leodo shouldn't be that violent, Ayumu reveals there's plans to implement a dedicated anti-kaiju response unit, her mentor helping set up, and the news reports a survey on whether people trust the giant, with just under half doing so with certainty, upsetting Kosei. Ayumu gets alerted of another Graim, Kosei shocked there's another, but this one was known about, but under observation as it had been hibernating. The sudden change reminds Sorato of Leodo, as an Uta Sayuka calls Ayumu to Mt. Ishifune. Sorato atypically warns her to be careful, and doesn't want Kosei to come, who doesn't appreciate that it's coming from genuine fear. On site, Ayumu meets Taira Kazuyusa of NDF, she's been specially recommended due to her knowledge on Graim, but Taira is uninterested in her knowledge on the movement patterns, merely if the developed tranquilliser will work, and in a later conversation clarifies the attempt to capture Graim live is merely due to having the highest success chance, but does when Ayumu expresses a belief she isn't fit for the anti-kaiju team that what's important is her ability and conviction in the field, not her current rank. Kosei continues to be more upset than Sorato over the Omega doubters, and runs ahead even as Sorato is more afraid of the danger, and refused to fight yet due to the sensation when Graim does appear. The first tranquilliser volley is confirmed to be affecting Graim, Ayumu saying a second wave should be successful. Frustrated by Sorato not acting, Kosei summons Trigaron even as Sorato tries to stop him, and Trigaron does incapacitate, Kosei celebrates, but then sees fully Sorato's discomfort. The NDF detect something new underground, a new Kaiju appears from underground. Sorato doesn't recognise the new Kaiju, but knows it was responsible for the bad feeling, while Ayumu realises it had been pursuing Graim. Trigaron is overpowered, and Sorato injured shielding Kosei from debris, but still fights as Omega. Injured, he cannot stand against the enemies, who battle, as they approach the camp Taira orders they fall back, Omega tries to block as many of Graim's heat blasts as possible, but some still hit around the camp, and Kosei is unable to summon Rekiness. Kosei rushes to the camp to see Ayumu call for medical assistance for Taira. The new Kaiju unleashes a creeper like tail that absorbs Graim whole, growing a new spike like Graim's horn on one shoulder, the grabs Omega and unleashes a blast, causing Omega to remember something similar from before, right as he is defeated. Unwilling to interrupt the NDF recovery, Kosei goes into the hills after the Kaiju burrows away, and finds Sorato, who merely expressed relief he is safe before passing out.

Zeztz: Baku believes there must be some reason Fujimi is dreaming of this, even as the dreamer master notes no one truly knows their subconscious mind. The Nightmare destroys the police station, opening the second of 3 Mind's Doors, and Baku wakes up in frustration. It turns out their really was an explosion at the police station, so Baku goes to Zero, currently preparing fuel inspired by tea, while explains the Nightmares influence reality and that is what makes them so dangerous, if all are opened, the Dreamer will be trapped forever. Fujimi is called into the Director of Public Safety, Todo Tsukasa's office, who informs him they'll be dismantling the Paranormal Affairs Division due to his skepticism of it's value since he took over, he doesn't believe in the Nightmares, and tells Fujimi to take some time off, increasing his frustration. Baku goes to the police looking for Fujimi, but the police can't give his contact info, with no choice he returns to dreaming, where Nem is still police chief and when he calls Fujimi out he tries to arrest him, not responding well to questions of where his Mind's Doors or why he wants the bombs, and throwing Seven in jail. Nem tells Seven that Fujimi is a trustworthy officer and Paranormal Affairs are on it, causing him to realise the dream reflects Fujimi's desire for the division to be recognised, and manages to persuade Nem to release him to defend his dream. Baku uses a police disguise to reach the Paranormal Affairs Division truck, and from there the Mind's Doors, looking through the last door's lock, and coming to a realisation. Seven tracks Fujimi down, now willing to see it all burn down, the destruction of the police, and calls out for the Nightmare, currently in the Director's office, where he explodes. Seven shields Fujimi, as in the real world Nagumo is among the witnesses to the explosion, and the last door opens. In a daze, the dream Fujimi opens into a doorway that is the Nightmare, and the real Fujimi, still at his desk, transforms into the Nightmare. A purple haze appears over the city, all screens now show a bloody crescent moon that also hangs low in the sky, as the Nightmare leader bids everyone awaken to nightmares, purple butterflies spread outwards. Baku awakens, Zero has brought him to the scene, warning they have limited time to save the world. Inside the police station, Baku confronts the Nightmare, which claims it only did what Fujimi wanted, destroying the police which mistreated him, but Baku knows Fujimi was dedicated to doing what he could, equipping the Zeztz Driver. The Nightmare asserts he cannot fight in real life like this, and throws him around, then prepares to complete the dream by blowing up the dreamer's body. Baku refuses to let this happen, and for the first time in reality becomes Zeztz, fighting and cutting two wires, then uses Transform to counter every attack. The Nightmare goads that even attacking will cause him to explode in the end, Zeztz counters by reaching around using Transform and cutting the critical wire from behind, then uses Impact to defeat the Nightmare, releasing Fujimi. Baku greets him as he wakes up, but leaves as Nagumo arrives. Nonetheless, the man seeks to grant someone else's bad dream next.

Series of Sister's Substory: Minami is informed over the phone that Tsutomu's latest bomb gag is being blocked from use following the recent explosion at the police station. Furthermore, she then gets a call from the agency president, telling her both she and Tsutomu are fired.

Gozyuger: No one has seen Assam or Ryugi, and Saori, needing the cafe open again, needs to pick a new manager, even is Aoi liked Ryugi's management. Hoeru collapses and is rushed to the hospital, but it turns out to have been food poisoning. The hospital director makes his rounds, and while Rikuo, Sumino and Kinjiro take a look, they spot among his entourage one Bakugami Ryugi. Ryugi is shocked to see them, and Bakugami Ryuto, the director and his father, is unimpressed by his choice of friends, in private stressing Ryugi must do what he says as he train to become director, though it's clear Ryugi isn't happy, just he has nothing else. Ryuto is then targeted by a No-One. As they discuss Ryugi, commotion reveals the presence of Doctor No-One and his Ayee entourage. Hoeru, in no position to fight, winds up as the patient, but Doctor No-One wins by default when Rikuo realises amateurs playing doctor is a bad idea, and grabs Hoeru and runs, but Kinjiro and Sumino are captured. Hoeru and Rikuo help the staff escape, and tell Ryugi they need his help as a Doctor, but Ryugi believes he is of no consequence. Angered by the absence of the man he knew, Hoeru pays off his cafe tab (with Rikuo's money) so they never have to meet again, and when told he doesn't have to do what people tell him, Ryugi says he doesn't know what else to do. Rei interrupts, saying he can just stop living, stunning the three of them, Hoeru notes the grey eyes. Rei is evidently familiar with the hospital and makes clear his history with Rikuo, before using his latest absorbed Ring to become GozyuTyranno, revealing he ate Assam. GozyuWolf and GozyuLeon fight, while Kumade and BearKuma save Kinjiro and Sumino from surgery, the three battle the Bridan. The two battles converge, but before GozyuLeon can tell GozyuUnicorn who this GozyuTyranno is, Doctor No-One uses poisons darts to incapacitate all of the Gozyugers, GozyuPolar shielding Ryugi. GozyuTyranno can see inside Doctor No-One that Ryuto is the host, and delivers a beat down, saying he doesn't resent the Director for what happened, but all the same, doesn't like him and never did, more than happy to kill the No-One and the host with the Tyranno Hammer 50. Ryugi tries to protect his father, unsuccessfully so while waiting in him Rei explains how he had been a surgeon at the hospital for years, but was dismissed by Ryuto after his injury meant he couldn't operate anymore, to him people are playthings, something Ryugi even acknowledges, even thinking he left home to escape this, but now knows he left to be true to himself, he will fight for his dream, and not let anyone else choose his goal for him, triggering the GozyuTyranno Ring, which returns to him. GozyuUnicorn finally sees the face of the man who took her sister, before Rei vanishes, and Ryugi becomes GozyuTyranno once more. Declaring himself a Doctor of the world, GozyuTyranno saves his father and defeats the No-One. Anima Heart takes the stage in his Ayayaser to avenge the Doctor. Ryugi in TegaSword Yellow fights, and declaring his determination to fight with TegaSword, is granted a boon by GozyuPolar using the Zyuranger Ring to equip Daizyuzin's arms and weapons, and using them TegaSword Yellow wins. Ryuto finds a letter of resignation on his desk, and Ryugi returns to the cafe, and allows Hoeru to keep the Rings from before. While everyone else is relaxing, Sumino has been desperately searching Bakugami Hospital records until she finds Gushima Rei's name, and from that, a picture of him with Rikuo.

Dogengers: as KitaQman fights, MAKO is unfamiliar with this form, Ex begins to explain, but Bincho Fire cuts him off to explain this form has been seen in Ex before. Having fought Arega Knight off a little, KiyaQman uses KitaQ Dash to get everyone away. In mental communication with the Queen, Korega Knight receives new advice, awaking watching over Ohgaman, just as KitaQman has brought everyone back, collapsing. After correctly reading Kaguyano Hime's feelings and telling everyone, Korega Knight asks Ex, as the most senior hero, to get in contact with Aku no Himitsu Kessya and receive their aid, so Ex leaves with MAKO. They find the villains depressed, and order food in before making their proposal, it taking some time before the villains reluctantly agree, but once the heroes are gone, all but Gallia are covered in a dark aura. As the three of them look over Ohgaman, Kaguyano Hime notes how Yamashiron is like a mother, causing him an emotional outburst, before getting a message to tell them the battle is on, as they leave, Kaguyano Hime tells Korega Knight to come back. Tanaka, Ex, Bincho Fire, MAKO, Yamashiron, KitaQman and Korega Knight confront Arega Knight, KitaQman tries to run and is nearly attacked, but after a moment AHK appear on the cliffside to assist as promised, only to then call on a black Sekikaguou 208 which blasts KitaQman instead. After hassling the same man who witnessed Arega Knight's rampage, Yabai Kamen reveals the new weapon with which he intends to defeat both Arega Knight and the Dogengers, the product of Shaberryman and Uzagi's work at Wakita Hi-Tecs, leaping from the black Sekikaguou 208, he presents to them, Kageyano Hime.

Number 7

Omega: A construction site has been directed by the appearance of a sleeping kaiju. Sorato beats Kosei at Janken for the last banana, Kosei has ran out of money before payday, discusses what he'd do if he had money, then discovers the news of the hibernating kaiju. They head to the scene and spot Ayumu, who reveals her team has been turned away by the Kanenari Corp who own the land. Sorato causes a distraction so they get past security, Kosei desperately trying to convince Ayumu it isn't that unusual. They get a look, seems Kanenari already have teams studying it, they then get caught by security. The site supervisor wants them thrown off for trespassing, but does ease off on learning Ayumu is with the government team. He's actually CEO Kanenari Joji, and insists they talk over lunch. After having a difficult talk with an employee, Kanenari claims to Ayumu that he wants to prevent access to the Kaiju in order to protect it from both being harmed and causing harm, attempting to recruit Ayumu to learn it's patterns for him, before Kosei comes back from a rush, having discovered the concepts for the Kanenari Kaiju Park. Kanenari argues he's doing his due diligence in making an exhibit of them, having the Kaiju studies and attempting to recruit experts, Sorato however questions what he even wants more money for. Ayumu, despite her objections to the zoo, agrees on the principle of protecting the Kaiju. Back home, Sorato looks up and interview from Kanenari, where he claims he wants to enjoy life without having to make sacrifices, yet his own dealings with the man have him concluding he isn't enjoying life much. The next day the press briefing about the park is coming, and Ayumu sends Kosei a full picture of the Kaiju for Sorato to identify, while also saying she didn't accept the job, but gor Kanenari to agree to let her study the kaiju while remaining in her government role, she also has info that in ancient times the area was ocean. Sorato realises the Kaiju is Gubila, which has a trick to lure in prey, pretending to be asleep, and so they need to stop the press briefing. As Kanenari begins his conference, is research team informs him of a change in Gubila's inner activity, as it awakens, free from its bonds, and rampages, the crowd flees. Kanenari is cornered, and all the money in the world means nothing to a Kaiju. Sorato becomes Omega to save him, and Kosei gets Kanenari away. Kosei gets Kanenari to safety and runs back to help others, he also witnesses Ayumu make sure the researchers are safe and going back for the lab chief, motivating him to help. With Omega on the back foot, Kosei summons Trigaron as support, as Gubila launch water spray that debilitates, Trigaron has to quickly shield the escapees. Kosei initiates Trigaron Armour, which enables them for defeat Gubila for good. After another contest for the banana, Sorato decides to split it instead.

Zeztz: National celebrity Nem has been kidnapped by criminals demanding a heavy ransom. After a week then 1 Billion ransom has been gathered but the terrorist leader is content to kill her anyway, even as she demands the money returned. Instead the man set to do the deed cuts her free, revealing himself as an agent for CODE. Code Number 7 fights their way out, and when Nem is thrown from the building leaps after her and cushions the landing. Before the can kiss the hero though, he is woken by a hit to the head by his sister. Minami is frustrated by her bothers oversleeping and his dreams of being a spy, like the films he loves, but wants him to keep the dreams for bedtime. And so Yorozu Baku goes job seeking, but as he's consulting he sees a mother looking for her young daughter, Kaede, who he's entertained while waiting, and realises the man who just left with her wasn't her father. He tries to chase after, but is hit by a car that starts moving at the impulse of someone bringing nightmares to life. A man starts attending to him, and goes to confront the driver, to find the car empty. Minami rushes to him in the hospital, wishing he'd stop trying to help people in reality, as every time something awful happens to him. Nagumo Nasuka, newly appointed to the Tokyo Police Paranormal Affairs Division, attends the scene, meeting the man who attended Baku, Chief Fujimi Tetsuya. As she's new, he explains these mysterious Black Cases are speculated to be the work of Nightmares. Late at night, Baku is confronted by a masked hooded figure who starts chasing and shooting at him, and nobody else appears in the hospital. He's cornered by the figure, now armoured, and runs as his environment keeps changing, until he finds himself with the captive Nem. Realising it's a dream, he comes No. 7 again, only for things not to turn out his way, as it reveals it is turning his delusion into a nightmare, as his physical body is lifted from the bed as the monster grabs him. As he's put through more abuse and berated by his dreams, his real body flatlines. Baku refuses to give up, causing in the dream a wall to appear, and someone to drag him through this new door. Finding himself in a strange room, he is greeted by Commander Zero, who explains they are in his unconscious, and presents his new gadgets, the Zeztz Driver and a Capsem, and Baku returns to his foe. With his determination intact, he attaches the Zeztz Driver over his chest, restarting his heart, and becomes Kamen Rider Zeztz, able to affect the very environment of the dream, and even turning the enemies weapon against him, before destroying it completely, the monster fading away leaving a butterfly floating away. Baku reverts to normal. Nem calls to him, but vanishes as he expressed relief he's safe. Baku awakens relieved he helped someone despite the nightmare, Minami frustrated leaves. Fujimi tells Nagumo to leave if she isn't going to accept Nightmares are real, she does so, both ignorant to the Nightmare instigator commenting on turning the world to a nightmare, though Fujimi at least feels a presence. Baku opens his shirt, and is shocked, as is the scoping out Fujimi, to see the Zeztz Driver on his chest, along with a communicator, informing Number 7 of his next mission.

Series of Sister's Substory: A group of criminals are confronted by an Agent, Yorozu Minami. With skill she takes down the whole gang, and the filming is completed. The manager praises her, asking if she's sure she doesn't want a leading role, but she feels she's just a manager. She works for small company Tsurukame Entertainment, and is currently struggling with how to promote one of their talents, a comedian named Tsutomu. She falls asleep and awakes to find a Cat Nightmare.

Gozyuger: The recent battle with Pestis has deeply affected Ryugi, leaving him terrified of TegaSword dying for good. A woman exhausted by the summer if brought to a rest inn by Hospitality No-One, who turns her into a flower as payment. Ryugi's worries have left him distracted around the cafe, and once he leaves Hoeru senses the No-One, so he and Kinjiro confront it, Hoeru believes he can win from his experience as Butler Lonely Wolf. Unfortunately, the customers here aren't like the cafe customers, Kinjiro tries to take over but simply attempts to force feed mountains of boiled eggs. When another Gozyuger turns up they hope it's Ryugi, disappointed by Sumino. Rikuo, followed by Kumade, finds Rei, Kumade having heard Rikuo try and call Rei and deducing his identity, also having business with Rei. Rikuo again requests he return Oto, no longer trusting him to keep his word and believing he can be cured another way, but Rei says he doesn't need it any more, throwing away his medicine, he shows his Ring, claiming the Calamity gave him Infinity, demonstrating by having it absorb the Magiranger and Zenkaiger Rings, and without a TegaSword, engages into MagiRed. GozyuLeon and GozyuPolar fight but are held off, and Rei demonstrates further power as Zenkaiser, wielding two Geartlingers, as he fights his colours fade into Zenkaiser Black. Seeing him use combos without the help of TegaSword shocks even Kumade, as he uses double blades. With GozyuPolar cornered, GozyuLeon tries to find the resolve to shoot, but Zenkaiser Black leaves before he can. As Ryugi struggle a man struggling after being laid off tries to steal food, Ryugi instead encourages him to find salvation in TegaSword, and finds the resolve to fight for TegaSword once more. Ryugi saves the others from being victims of the No-One, and is left in charge, but his fears of losing TegaSword causes him to fail, angering the No-One into going into battle, and Calendeus has also appeared. Rikuo confronts her in TegaSword Blue, Bouquet still not realising her foe is her idol, but as she fights the technique of TegaSword Blue reminds her of him, the distraction leading her to retreat for now. The other 5 Gozyugers battle Hospitality No-One, but GozyuTyranno exposes his ego in seeking praise for his hospitality, enabling him to achieve victory. Having discovered his resolve, Ryugi presents Hoeru with a letter of challenge, intending to ensure TegaSword remains all powerful by acquiring Hoeru's Rings for him. Recognising his resolve, Wild GozyuWolf faces him, and Kumade reminds the others that as long as they are Ring Warriors, this awaits them in the end. The battle is well fought, but GozyuWolf emerges the clear victor. Acknowledging Hoeru's strength, Ryugi leaves it in his hands, declaring when questioned that he has set aside his own ego, as long as the Rings are all gathered by one person TegaSword will be strong again. As everyone watches him go, the GozyuTyranno Ring flies away, falling in the hands of a blond man.

Dogengers: Korega Knight wakes Kaguyano Hime, and they go out, eventually expressing their thanks to eachother while seeking the rest of Arega Knight. At AHK everyone is worried by Arega Knight disappearing in it's own. Tanaka, Ohgaman and Yamashiron find the pair and tell them Bincho Fire is preparing a party, as Korega Knight is thinking he's enjoying this world, Arega Knight appears, now vocal, and proving a true challenge to everyone present. A local businessman stumbles on the battle, watching in terror as the heroes are consistently overpowered, culminating in stabbing a stubborn Ohgaman in the stomach. Arega Knight is confronted by AHK, who want their weapon back, and similarly overpowers all of them. The same businessman is in time to see Yabai Kamen similarly stabbed, and then energy id drained from him, and Maid Shitsuji when Arega Knight grabs the rapier. Bincho Fire is working on party planning, when he is shocked by the arrival with Ohgaman. At Daishizen the revelry has wound down alot, Ex is the only one still talking while KitaQMan and MAKO are both passed out from drinking. Ex sees a message on his phone about the danger.

Gridman Universe: Complete Breakdown

At time of writing, the Gridman Universe Show is about to happen, and if nothing major is announced, we may be putting a cap on the Gridman Universe for now. This isn't going to be fully comprehensive, but I do want to share info on the things that are harder to find.

Denkou Chojin Gridman, aka Gridman the Hyper Agent, was a 1993 Tokusatsu series by Tsuburaya based on toy concepts by Takara. A Hyper Agent joins with a group of youths for help to defeat an other dimensional criminal, and they are responsible for both his form and his Assist Weapons.

Followed the next year by a photo sorry, Demon King's Counterattack, which introduced Gridman Sigma to help fight a new threat, and introduced a couple more form variations.

In 2015, Trigger gave us the short boys invent great hero, part retelling of the show and part reimagining of Demon King's Counterattack. But more important, is what it lead to.
