オリエンタルランド元社長でイクスピアリの初代社長である加賀見俊夫氏は、著書『海を超える想像力』の中で、海外の田舎町や京都の路地のように、あえて曲がりくねった街を舞浜につくろうとしたと明かしている。買い物そのものより、街を歩く体験を楽しんでもらう狙いがあったという。 本書で加賀見氏は、「『路地の楽しさを舞浜に』と言いつづけてきた。買い物だけが目的なら百貨店や行きつけの店に行けばよい。だが、リゾートでのショッピング体験はまた別ものである」（p.167）と述べている。 ところが現在、その前提条件は大きく変わりつつある。高いテーマ性を持つ外観とは裏腹に、各ゾーンのテナントはチェーン店が中心で、映画館の上映作品も一般的なラインナップにとどまる。もはや「路地の奥まで足を運ぶ理由」が提示されているとは言い難い。 結果として、入り組んだ通路は「発見の導線」ではなく、「特に用事がなければ引き返す理由」へと変わった。分かりにくい構造と目的性の弱いテナント構成が重なり、人の流れは入口付近で滞留し、奥まで波及しない。 かつて、発見の楽しみを生むために設計された見通しの悪さは、いまやゲストにとって物理的・心理的な「障壁」となり、施設全体の利用範囲を狭める一因となっている。

🔔*Jingle jingle jingle* -Tinkerbell — Have you seen the Tinkerbell movies? Tinkerbell has always been a favorite for many of us, but these movies definitely add a lot to her character. We were so bummed when we heard that they decided to stop production, however we’re hoping that they finish up the last two that were planned in the near future! Our favorite is Tinkerbell and the Legend of the Neverbeast! It’s such a cute movie with a sweet and heartfelt message.🐾 - 🧚🏻‍♀️👗&Ears: Tinkered by us!
