Unity falls to St. Thomas More in non-conference contest

January 3, 2012 – Tolono, IL – For more than 10 minutes in their home non-conference game against St. Thomas More, the Unity Rockets’ girls’ basketball squad could not buy a point to put on the scoreboard. After senior Bailey Walden knocked down a pair of free throws on her way to a team-high 8 points early in the second quarter, Unity shots bounced off the glass, the rim and the floor – anywhere but through the net in their 43-26 loss to the visiting Sabers.

Kyle Negangard recognized as All-State football player

November 25, 2011 - Champaign, IL - Tolono Unity linebacker Kyle Negangard accepts his All-State Award before the start of the Class 3A from members of the Illinois High School Football Coaches Association. 18 of the top Class 3A football players from around the state were nominated and recognized for their excellent performance during he 2011 season.  Negangard was also joined by teammate Michael Lafenhagen on the list of recipients.
