"W-what do you mean I only have 30 more minutes of being tall?!"
Serena started to tear up. Midnight would be bittersweet. On the positive end, she would no longer have to crouch through doorways or scare her friends away. Her loved ones could even pick her up again - but she wouldn't be caught dead admitting how much she looked forward to that. Unfortunately, shrinking back to normal came with the downside of losing any chance of being taken seriously in the Flare and Rocket bases. Everyone being taller than her again would also be frustrating.
"Today was an interesting day. I... I achieved verticality. I was tall. At least... I now know what it's like to reach the top shelf. I've never seen it before. I'm happy."
Any April Fool's Day Tolrena threads will be continued if you guys want! Unfortunately (for Serena), she will shrink back down at midnight to her usual 4'10 self.

Serena saw the professor's panic and stopped just before glomping him.
"Oh yeah! The April fool's magic made me bigger. I was just so excited to see you that I forgot, sorry!"
Serena knelt down and outstretched her arms, offering Augustine the chance to come hug her instead of the other way around.

Loud crashing rumbled through the cafe... Then the banging of loud footsteps... Serena's own loud footsteps?.
The young Dex Holder stood up and looked around. The shelves were toppled in a wreck. Her barstool at the cafe collapsed from under her. Thank God nobody was around to see yet-
Or not. The crowd of people began to scream and run away. Panic ensued and spilled into the streets outside Lysandre Cafe.
Serena looked down. What happened? Am I a mons-oh? I'm... I'm...
Tears of joy welled up in the child's eyes as she looked down, far down, to admire her new stature.
"I'M TALL~! YAY!"
