so! gonna do something a bit different as i only have one published fic, so i’m gonna rec that and then float two potential ideas for my next fic for anyone that’s interested!

the sleep series

Bellamy has always known that developing feelings for Clarke was a colossal fuck-up of epic proportions. Knew that Octavia - his jealous, possessive, adored baby sister - wouldn't be able to handle it.

Knew that she’d be utterly consumed by the idea that Clarke could see a side to her brother that she couldn’t see. That he would find something in Clarke that he couldn’t, and shouldn’t, find in her.

That’s really the only explanation for what happens next.

three months ago i decided to check out the kink meme to see if i could get up the courage to post a fic fill, and proceeded to write about 7,000 words in one night. we’re now halfway through the series, with 47,000 words written (fuck) and about 3,000 tags.

i’d be proud of this fic even if it was shit, just because it broke years of writers block and actually forced me to put something on the page and commit to it. but i actually think it’s pretty good! i’m pleased with the reception i’ve had - despite the tags, content warnings and multiple relationships, it’s built up a little group of fans that really seem to love it and have got emotionally invested. particularly proud of the people that have commented to let me know they read it despite the warnings and unexpectedly ended up liking it.

and for my next fic...

if the sleep series doesn’t kill me (A BIG IF) i want to do something completely different for my next fic.

the two choices as it stands are:

chrome

clarke is a stripper. both she and bellamy get off on it.

that’s it. that’s the fic.

bellarke established relationship. stripper!clarke. one shot.

the overwhelming light surrounding us

clarke and bellamy are college housemates and best friends stuck in a cycle of pining, miscommunication, and bad timing. when clarke breaks up with her long-term girlfriend for bellamy, just in time for him to start dating echo, she goes out for one wild night to get over him. cut to a month later and a positive pregnancy test...

a nice summer fic - light, fluffy, uncomplicated.

basically i just want to write nine months of mutual pining, totally platonic bed sharing, lamaze!class!partner!bellamy and third wheel housemate murphy rolling his eyes the entire time. i also intend to work in as many scenes as possible of strangers/doctors/shop assistants assuming bellamy is the father of clarke’s baby and the adorable awkwardness that ensues.
