This Sausage Pasta Broccoli Bake combines savory Italian sausage, tender broccoli, and flavorful tomatoes, all baked with pasta and cheese for a comforting and satisfying meal.
Ingredients: 8 oz pasta. 1 lb Italian sausage. 2 cups broccoli florets. 1 onion, diced. 2 cloves garlic, minced. 1 can 14.5 oz diced tomatoes. 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese. 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese. 1/4 cup chopped fresh basil. Salt and pepper to taste. 1 tablespoon olive oil.
Instructions: Warm the oven up to 190C 375F. Following the directions on the package, cook the pasta, drain it, and set it aside. Warm up the olive oil in a big pan over medium-low heat. Use a spatula to break up the Italian sausage before adding it. It will take about 8 minutes of cooking until it is browned and done. Dice the onion and mince the garlic and add them to the pan with the sausage. It will take about 3 minutes of cooking until the onions are clear. Add broccoli florets and diced tomatoes and mix well. Let the flavors blend for five more minutes while you cook. Put the cooked pasta in the pan and mix everything together. Add pepper and salt to taste. Put the mixture in a baking dish that has been greased. Cover the whole thing with shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan cheese. Put it in an oven that is already hot and bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the cheese melts and bubbles. Before serving, top with chopped fresh basil.
