Instead of finding an answer she found herself with more to think about. Hazel eyes look away as she straightened up, focusing on ebony strands while a lone finger goes to wrap some around her finger. There’s a look of content, his words something she’s always wanted to hear from whoever seemed to catch her fancy. However she’s conflicted on how she want’s this relationship to be categorized, so long it had been to fill a void that could simply be done with his help. 

Now, it just seems that there might be more to this situation.

“I can’t---I,” the need to let him hear what he wants is strong, “you mean-- so much to me. If something happened cause you and me-- I couldn’t.”

“Excuse me,”  she blinks, looking at him with a little confusion. This was standard for a funeral in the leaf, then again she wasn’t there at the moment either. 

So the best thing to do was to follow, he knew better than she did when it came to his home. Although the tiny remark left her a little grumpy.

Asa stares up at the other man who is, actually, now that he’s looking, quite intimidating. It might be the sword, or the glistening chest, or the long, flowing hair, or the thinly veiled killing intent that isn’t directed at Asa in particular, but maybe more so in the direction of the man who ran past him ten minutes prior, and that should be concerning, really, but ---

“Are you an actor?” Asa asks, crossing his arms over his chest. “I swear I’ve seen you before.”

Asa stares at the man for a moment before it hits him. “Aha!” He slams his fist into his palm, triumphant. “You look like the guy on the cover of Icha Icha Island Paradise! The one with the runaway warrior princess and her brooding lover with a dark past? I swear, man. You look just like him.”
