Tom Felton is carted off the course after collapsing during the celebrity matches ahead of the 43rd Ryder Cup at Whistling Straits on September 23, 2021 in Kohler, Wisconsin.
HAVEN, N.J. — On Thursday afternoon at Whistling Straits, actor Tom Felton of the European celebrity team experienced a medical emergency while going off the 18th green following their match with the United States team.
When Felton seized and fell to the ground, the teams had just completed posing for pictures. As the European Ryder Cup team walked down the ninth fairway during their practice round, panicked demands for medical aid erupted.

Felton, who was born in Surrey, England, is best known for playing the evil Draco Malfoy in the Harry Potter film series, and was competing in the celebrity showcase with the Europe side one day before the Ryder Cup began. His other film and television credits include “The Flash” and “Rise of the Planet of the Apes.” Spectators applauded Felton as he walked away for treatment. His condition is unknown at this time.

Felton was cared for for a while on the ground until a wagon came. He eventually stood up and was helped to his cart before being escorted from the course.

Former Olympic gold medalist in hockey Mike Eurzione, Green Bay Packers Super Bowl winner A.J. Hawk, speedskating gold medalist Dan Jansen, comedian Rob Riggle, surfer Kelly Slater, and professional wrestler Mandy Rose made up the American squad.
