Okay so I've started watching Succession and I'm obsessed, obviously. I have a lot of thoughts about the show so far but one thing that blew my mind was a VERY specific scene in 01x06 where Tom takes Greg to a restaurant and they eat that Ortolan bird and Tom goes like "oh yeah so you have to eat the whole bird at once and it's like super illegal" and ALL I could think of was Hannibal. My god. Not even saying their relationships have anything alike but Tom and Greg have this funny relationship and I'm pretty sure it's queer coded or something like Hannibal (but let's be honest NBC Hannibal was pretty clearly gay) and I'm LOSING MY FUCKING MIND and the fact that Greg asked Tom if he's trying to seduce him??? I mean it's probably for business reasons I don't know but. I can't stop thinking about it
