I am bereft, a fav fic of mine has disappeared.. I didn't have the forsight to note the author, I guess if its gone from ao3 they don't want us to access it anymore and I should gracefully *sob* accept it?
You might have to, I’m afraid. If you know the name of the fic, you could try using the Wayback machine? but if it’s a multi-chap you might only get the first chapter.
Your other hope is sending out a flare to the fandom to see if anyone has a downloaded version of it that they could share with you. Post on your blog and if there are any fic rec blogs in your fandom, try with them too?
