The narrator is like a cat in that he jumps up on your counter (he’s not allowed there) and then falls off your counter like an idiot and makes eye contact the whole time. And you can see in his eyes that he thinks he is better than you. And by all means you should hate him because that’s stupid asshole behavior but instead you pat his head.
