“because i just drank three cups of cheap-ass coffee,” he mutters under his breath, going through his notes. “obviously.” terry never has enough time to balance school, an internship, work, and even more work. this week has been rough, so he opts to sleep at a maximum of five hours; six if he’s lucky. he forgets to eat, but at least that’s saving him money. “you know how it is, right?” he asks, finally sparing the girl a glance. “with deadlines and everything. it’s kind of hard to even fall asleep.”
