Day 17 #30daysofgracechallenge This challenge is one I specifically wrote with the intention to push you to write 5 positive things that you excel in and for you to be aware and see the difference in how quickly we can write what we believe we fall short in but how it takes some much brain power to actually bring up the things we indeed excel in. • This challenge is all about being transparent not only with you. But with others. That we are not alone in our struggles but we all try to present our best selves and that's ok! • This weekend has been absolutely amazing. I looked at a venue that we may have our future workshop & #fashionshow (pray for us) and my little family and I went to our local church @newhopemovement. The hubby and I attended our church's marriage conference and one point hit me and that was the "comparison" trap. Among other awesome, awesome points. It was funny, engaging and the hubby and I left feeling more connected than ever. #TomLowe was awesome. My hubby actually thanked me for signing us up. 😊 that was all God. Love you babe 😘. • Five things that I believe I can do better in is 1. Believing, having more faith. 2. Being more organized 3. Having more patience 4. Being more present 5. Just loving more • What I say I excel in? Well I don't know about excelling but I would say 1. Doing the very best that I can. I have seen God literally upgrade me. 2. That it's not about the work but the people I get to work with that is one of our core values to over deliver 3. Creativity - I like making things 4. Eating, especially if it's good food (so good at this guys)5. Being myself around the kids 😅 see what I mean? It can be difficult for us to find those things that we excel in or do great work in. • I know tons of people have this love hate relationship with social media and we sometimes fall victim to the endless stigma of keeping up with the Jonses. I say, stop looking to compare and start looking to get inspired. • Stop twiddling your thumb and wishing your life looked different and start living out your calling, work within your talents and hone your skills that get you to where you are meant and dream to be. • Get out there and do it!

Tom just surfed one of the world's most dangerous waves, the Todos Santos in Baja California, #Mexico. In Winters Arms by Tom Lowe

The song 'Lost Precious Daylight' by Kingdom of Back was created using an Epiphone guitar, piece of shit bass guitar, old broken keyboard (maggie no nuts) with no touch sensitivity used for midi controller for synths. Piano sound by Addictive Keys. Additional synth sounds created within Pro Tools 10. Drums- Toontrack software and home-made banging. 

Video clips were recorded using a mix of an insanely expensive 4K Red MX digital cinema camera and a 5.6K 5D Mark II DSLR and lenses. Shots of random scenery of the U.S southwest- courtesy of the 'Master of Time Lapse', Tom Lowe. Clips were shot, edited and color-graded at 4K resolution (4096 x 2304 pixels). The first video to have been done so.

Additional video clips- NASA's Curiosity camera shooting in 1080p during the two mile journey into the atmosphere. Random shit on fire courtesy of Slo-Mo-Boys, and Wings of Life, courtesy of Disney. All edited, chopped, sped up, and reversed using Adobe Premiere Pro by yours truly. Basically, I did all the hard work.
