A wee taster of Charlie Roth’s next album this recorded with The Henry Girls.

Charlie says a friend of mine for many years. He was having at a particularly bad night and I got to thinking that we have all been that guy at some point. I went on to make a statement about the current state of politics in the USA. This last election was a bad one for mud slinging. I guess I would like everyone to just chill and figure out how we see the good in each other without always just trying to pick a fight . I believe most people want pretty much the same things. I met the Henry Girls last year in Inverness at a festival and then hooked up with them at their home in County Donegal Ireland I somehow talked them into singing on this track. I think it is safe to say that it is the first time that the name of Saddam Hussain has been sung so sweetly. We laughed long and loud as we were working that out. It should be also mentioned that Kurt ‘Lightning’ Rodman is also featured here on nylon stringed guitar. He is our own personal Grady Martin right here in St Cloud MN. I am a lucky and blessed man indeed. I will be putting out this song on the next album along with a bunch of new songs that I am equally proud of. Stay tuned.
