Mya: Hey
Pots and Hands | Tommy
Mya was nervous. It took her longer than usual to get ready because her kept stopping to think about what was actually happening. She had to muster up a lot of courage to tell Tommy she liked him even if it was over the phone. Now she was still worried that maybe he’d change his mind. He didn’t know everything about her and she felt guilty because of it. It had to be some kind of false advertisement to only showcase the good parts of yourself, the good parts she had anyway.
She’d gotten the card in the mail after just a few days of waiting and decided to use it on some decent clothes and a new soap she liked. Mya didn’t spend too much time shopping. Not like she had with Vivian. She settled tights, high waist shorts and a long sleeved loose crop top. The long sleeves were to cover up whatever scars were still on her arms. Tommy seeing them would bring up a conversation she wasn’t ready to have.
It was almost two.

Mya: Hello?
The Love I Lost ~ Tommy
The cupboards were empty by now, the boxes and frozen food were out of date so Naomi needed to go to the supermarket if she didn’t want starving to death. There was always the option of going out and have food at a resto, but if she kept doing that, all of her money would be gone before she could get an appropiate job. She put some clothes on and left the house, took her bike and pedalled all of her way towards the place she wanted to go. Tying her hair up into a high ponytail, she parked her bike and walked inside. She had always hated to go to these places with her mum because she could spent hours there, walking all of the corridors more than once to see what the shop had to offer, as if she was making an inventary of it. She would just search for the numbers, read what was in that hall and got her supplies. She couldn’t buy much because the basket she had tied to her vehicle was not big and the weight would bring her down anyways.
The basics would make it today, and those products that would be enough for more than one day, like pancakes flour. Naomi was almost finished with the shopping, but one corridor caught her attention. Her mum also used to buy all kind of naturalistic shit, and there was one drink in specific that she liked and hadn’t drunk in a long, long time. She took the large bottle and saw the prize, the trolley waiting next to her as she gasped and wondered why this thing was so expensive. She kept on searching there for other sizes because it seemed like she had to drink this today or the world would end, it was one of those days.
Picnic at the Park | Tommy
After hanging up the phone, Mya immediately regretted being in charge of the food. It would take her a lot of time to figure out which condiments were which and what went together. She didn’t want to accidentally end up making a mayonnaise and jelly sandwich. Mya could feel Milo at her feet waiting for her to drop something. She shook her head and sighed. “Sorry bud. Looks like I’m getting sandwiches from the deli down the street. Come on I’ll even get you one.” She followed Milo to the door and got him ready to leave. His bar was easy to put on. It was second nature now and Milo even helped sometimes.
Mya knew when she was walking pass the place from the smell alone. It helped that Milo sometimes pulled toward the place to get her to go inside. They were there in no time. Which was good. Mya still had to make it back to the house to drop off Milo then venture out on her own to the park. It wouldn’t be easy but she knew she could do it. Mya stepped inside of the deli and immediately heard a loud voice. “Ey no dogs in here!” She was startled and didn’t know whether to have Milo wait outside or to take the time to explain that she needed him by her side. “He’s a service dog. I need him.” Next came a number of apologies and then a question of what she wanted to order. “Uh do you guys do like, wraps? Three of those. Ooh and whatever fruit you’ve got. And two cokes. That’s it.” After some time fishing for her wallet and the girl behind the register helping her count out her money, Mya was on her way. She made a mental note ask someone for help setting up a bank account so she could start using a card instead of cash.
“Okay Milo. I’m going to give you your sandwich but you have to stay here. I’ll only be gone for a little bit.” Mya handed one of the wraps over to the pup and closed the front door behind her. She carried the paper bag full of goodies and started to count the steps to the park.

Mya: Sorry I hope this isn't weird. Ashlyn from the shop gave me your number? She said you had a key now. I needed someone to meet me before the shop opens. I have my first lesson with someone. Geeze I'm babbling and I didn't even say hi yet. Hi.
