Nectarine, pistachio, teaberry and raspberry swirl
Oh dang I actually got one. That’s a first since about, uh... possibly ever. Thank you!
Nectarine: Do you and your F/O live together? If so, what does your living space look like?
Nightwolf and I do live together and our living space is pretty darn clean (aside from the pet hair that just floats from room to room) because both of us are fairly neat people. He is a lot less cluttered than I am so he was a bit surprised at how many decorative knickknacks I had and it was a bit of a challenge to find cohesive places for them all, but since most of them are gifts to me neither of us could really find the will to box them up. He now has to explain to his friends how he got things like: a taxidermy of a snowy owl that’s almost 100 years old, a javelina skull, a statue of an alabaster cat, a philosopher’s knot, and a bunch of other things that don’t completely fit in with the rest of the cozy, somewhat rustic decor. A couple of things that he did really like and was all for putting up were the latch hook wall decorations I made and a collection of photos from when photography was my main hobby.
Pistachio: When was the last time that you or your F/O cried during a movie?
Uhhh... the only time I can really remember shedding a single tear during a movie was when I was watching Marley & Me (typical, I know) and that was well before we were together, some 12 years ago now after the movie came out. And as far as I know Nightwolf doesn’t cry during movies, at least not that I’ve seen! He’s pretty stoic during our movie nights.
Teaberry: Where would you like to travel with your F/O someday?
Everywhere. Just kidding, neither of us are rich.
I’ve always wanted to go to the typical places like Ireland or Germany, but since international travel is frigging expensive I’m more than happy to just take a road trip to the national parks and get lost (not literally) in the forest and just do whatever suits us best. It’s a good way to get my butt back into photography, too.
Raspberry swirl: How does your F/O cheer you up when you are feeling down?
Nightwolf’s main way of cheering me up when I’ve had a rough day is sitting me down on the couch, turning on the TV to a favorite show or putting on one of my favorite movies, and making comfort food and staying close to me in case I feel like cuddling. It’s typical, I know, but the best way I get cheered up is taking my mind off whatever is bothering me and distracting me for the next couple of hours until I feel ready to vent a little. He’s found out that trying to ask me what happened first rarely works because I’m stubborn as hell and will say it’s fine in an effort to not have him worry about me when it is, in fact, not fine.
