I hope the devs and the studio notice the Johnny/Kenshi fans and make it canon, if that’s not their plan already given some aspects of the story, how flirty Johnny can be even with other men and he’s announcer voice calling Kenshi his best friend (when he also call Tanya “Mileena’s bestie” and Sareena “Bi-Han’s bestie”). I know there would most likely be backlash from some fans, but I think being bi makes sense for Johnny and doesn’t change his character at all, plus if Mileena and Tanya can exist I’m sure the fandom would eventually get used to Johnny and Kenshi being a couple too.
Johnny has always given me bi vibes and I would love to see that represented properly in video media. We don’t have many Male/Masc Bi folks in video games and Johnny would be perfect for that. Queerbaiting or any of that stuff aside.
I wish I could speak on Johnny’s and Kenshi’s relationship but I don’t have the game yet. But I totally agree with you anon.
