From bad to good.
Today was not the best day for me. People had problems with the things i decided to put on the blog, when they should have just been minding their own business. So that person thought that if she had an argument or debate with Mike, that what I wanted to put on the blog would not be put on the blog.
That's not how it worked out though.
Mike told me that no one had control over the way I feel in my heart or the way i choose to express those feelings. So on that day, I learned that no one has control over the way I feel or the way i choose to express my feelings towards a certain thing or topic. During the break, I got kind of happy. Jahziah kept messing with me (as always) but this time, I actually liked that he kept bothering me. I don't know why though. I guess i was happy that Dominique finally gave me an apology for being in my business when she should not have been. It's weird because people think i like Jahziah. I don't know if I do. I don't think I do. That would be kind of weird. But yea, today was a good day in the end.

In late 2013 we caught up with some of the folks at PlayMaker at New Roads Schools & Gamedesk. They shared their thoughts on why education is of paramount importance, and why it's so critical that the pilot of Tomorrow's Roundtable focus on it.
Living in San Francisco
Happy December! This week will mark 1 month since moving to the Bay from LA. It's been a pretty great month. Though it took Paul and I a couple of weeks to settle in, I'm happy to have still had time to network for Tomorrow's Roundtable. Here are some highlights:
Mike and I attended the Ashoka Foundation's mentoring and networking event held at the David and Lucille Packard Foundation Headquarters in early November. We built a ton of relationships with other companies putting forth the effort to creating empathy in local communities. Then afterwards we hit the town to network with Silicon Valley residents.
The Green Festival at Fort Mason in the Marina District of San Francisco was also a successful event. Mike and Adam met a lot of really cool and innovating people.
From a connection made at the Green Festival, Adam and I go to mix and mingle at Social Startup. We listened to a great speaker and chatted with a bunch of techies doing great things. Adam connected well with the Financial Advisor of the group and have stayed in touch since.
Overall, I am really excited to be living in SF and to see what opportunities are presented for TR. I'll keep you posted on the journey!
Ta-Ta for now ;)

Tomorrow's Roundtable is a documentary series that creates community campaigns addressing social and environmental issues using radical solutions imagined by children!
This is one of the most creative, inspiring and yes, cool things I've come across in a long time. It's different and it does more than it says, so it gets my vote.
