one thing i still find crazy (in a good way) about S1 Beastars is how little anyone really seems to care about Legoshi's very obvious depression/social anxiety.

hes like, straight up suicidal on a regular basis and aside from Jack nobody really seems to worry about or want to be there for him. very rarely do other characters treat Legoshi's mental health or social struggles with compassion and i think that's really sad.

like despite being a doctor supposedly set on helping carnivores, the first thing Gohin does to Legoshi is punch him in the face, flashbang him multiple times, deliberately agitate him, shove him around, and berate him about something Legoshi's clearly confused/sensitive about without asking any deeper questions and then he just... lets Legoshi go. the whole interaction is like "hey i can tell you're dealing with some complicated shit having almost killed and eaten someone you think you may now be in love with but you gotta get over it or you will slowly tear yourself apart and probably devour this rabbit girl. anyway here's a porno magazine, goodbye"

meanwhile the only person who really knows Legoshi instantly locks onto the fact that hes been more depressed than usual, that his explosion on stage wasn't an act, and that hes got a crush on a girl. when Jack finds that porno mag, hes shocked and horrified because owning something like that is so unlike Legoshi. it makes him uncertain if he actually knows his best friend as well as he thinks he does, but despite the confusion and shock he still wants to be friends with and support Legoshi.

i just think its interesting how like... i dunno if "realistically" is the right word but i think it says a lot about the society and that Legoshi gets treated this way.

anyway what Legoshi really needed was a therapist and to get medicated thx for coming to my TEDTalk

hello! this post is a follow-up to a post i made in 2022 wherein i documented everything i could find on the official Deltarune website. that post got flagged as mature for some reason, but i'm linking it anyway in case you'd like to go read it.

without further ado: lets begin!

chapter5/ is a page titled "back" in all lowercase letters.

this page contains the numbers 1-5 in varying text sizes and opacities. in order of size, the biggest numbers are 3, 2, 5, 4, and 1. the darkest number by far is 1, followed closely by 3, which is almost invisible.

applying photo manipulation yielded no additional information.

the possible meaning behind this is unknown. my theory is that its the amount of impact doing the weird route has on that chapter, with the most visible numbers being the important ones

this is supported by the fact that the numbers 2, 3, 4, and 5 all link to new pages with content relating to the Weird Route

2 links to /assets/audio/d.mp3 which contains a few seconds of music from the track before the Weird Route Berdly fight

3 links to /assets/audio/ma.mp3 which plays the sound effect you hear upon defeating the Shadow Mantle Boss

4 links to /chapter4 (which we'll get to in a moment)

5 links to /assets/audio/h.mp3 which plays a few seconds of an acoustic rendition of "A Town Called Hometown"

another theory i have (that is significantly less substantiated but still feels worth mentioning) is that it could be a potential bunker number combination. which would mean one of the combinations is "3-2-4-5-1". this is just speculation, however.

chapter4/message

chapter4/message is entirely black, save for a single pixel in the middle of the page. the page is titled "..." .

the pixel can be highlighted, but clicking on it only reloads the page (opening it in a new tab does the same thing).

if you stay on the page for about 50 seconds, the pixel grows brighter and brighter, revealing its true color to be a bright, searing red. after this, nothing else happens. EDIT: i was wrong about that last part. there is something else.

i left the tab open for bit while i was writing this and when i came back and clicked on the red pixel, instead of the page reloading i was taken to something called "e.mp3"

deltarune.com/assets/audio/e.mp3 is a six second audio clip that consists of a low, almost inaudible whispering drone that quickly crescendos into a subtle but impactful whooshing sound before falling silent. the page title is the same as the file name. i have no idea what this is meant for, but it gave me chills.

i don't know how i accessed this clip, but what i do know is that i got to it by hovering over the red pixel and clicking after it'd completed its animation. i tried to do this a few more times to no avail, so i think whether or not the red pixel takes you to e.mp3 is up to random chance.

UPDATE: I FIGURED IT OUT.

i was showing this page to my partner and highlighted the entire page to try and show him that the red pixel was the only thing on there, and accidentally ended up finding THESE

each of these leads to a different audio file website. i think i was able to access e.mp3 because i accidentally clicked on one of the hidden links

there are only 2 files here in total, /assets/audio/e.mp3 and /assets/audio/m.mp3

m.mp3 is composed of a few seconds of silence that gets interrupted by an abrupt whooshing sound. it sounds similar to the whooshing sound from e.mp3, so...

i played e.mp3 at the same time as m.mp3 and discovered the two synced up together perfectly. m.mp3 picks up where e.mp3 gets cut off.

the audios themselves remain the same no matter which link you click on, but for posterity i've recorded the order they're in here (from left to right)

out of curiosity, i inputted the first line ("eeeemmmeme") into the search bar. this yielded no results, so i tried the second line ("meeeememe"). this also yielded nothing, so i input the final line ("eeeeeme"). still nothing. i tried all 3 together, first with underscores separating each line, and then as one word (which btw looked like this -> eeeemmmememeeeememeeeeeeme), but unfortunately all attempts came up empty

i feel like there's something here though. its very clear that these links are spelling "me" over and over again, and when addressing the player Kris is often seen facing the screen with a glowing red pixel eye.

i think this may hint at us getting more Kris acknowledging/rejecting the player this chapter, but to be honest its very hard to figure anything out from this

after seeing what chapter4/ and chapter5/ had to offer, i tried the other remaining chapters. here is what they had to say.

chapter3/ is a black page titled "..." with text that simply reads "Not applicable."

chapter2/ is a black page titled "..." with a single word in white text: "Applicable."

chapter1/ is a black page titled "..." with text that simply reads "Not applicable."

this is pretty clearly in reference to which chapters you can do the Weird Route in. @crustyleadpaint discovered something interesting though!

approximately 1 day ago, this page was titled "Where will it take place?"

according to @obscuretobyfox it had 2 boxes you could write in, the first one being for your email and the second one being what we think is a guess as to where the next chapter will take place. i was able to find a screenshot of what it looked like from reddit user Minecraft_Infinite65

today (6-10-26), as notified by @tvlandofficiall , its appearance changed.

as of 6/11/26, it reads as follows:

Available entrants: 1571 Total Received: 1229 Next correspondence: When less than 24 hours are left.

i assume "available entrants" are those who inputted their usernames and "total received" is the amount of people whose guesses had a prepared response. although it is most certainly coincidence, i do find it rather eerie that the number of recipients is almost exactly 1,225.

as for the last part of the message, it could mean one of two things. there are two things the last part could mean. either the next correspondence will happen the day after i write this (june the 12th, 2026) OR the next correspondence will happen less than 24 hours before chapter 5 releases (june the 23th, 2026)

if something changes tomorrow, i will update this section in yellow.

6-11-26: the page has not changed at all lol. its the second one

UPDATE 6-23-26: the page has changed again!

the page is entirely black and small text in the center simply reads "Thank you."

"what all of this was for" makes me think of the Knight's plans

"get lost along the way" makes me think of Dess.

does this mean we'll get more evidence for Dess being the Knight in this chapter?

interesting choice of words here. usually the phrase is "the heart wants what it wants", but here "does" is used instead. does this mean something special will happen if you go on the Ferris Wheel with Noelle after doing the Weird Route? or does this mean it'll be impossible for Kris and Noelle to ride the Ferris Wheel at all?

apparently inputting "the fields" got the same response, as for inputting the names of any previous Dark Worlds

the only thing of note here is that inputting "Ice-E's P"E"zza" gets the same response, which would make the "dough" part make sense.

now this is interesting. does this imply we'll see other character's reactions to our mucking about int he church dark world and its ensuing destruction?

a coffin isn't something monsters use. so why mention a coffin specifically especially in a conversation about Noelle? the only possibly dead person in her life is Dess, and she wouldn't be in a coffin.

unless... she a monster at all

that's right! i have a feeling this is more evidence for the "Dess was a human" theory

did Carol accidentally make a dark fountain from her daughter's grave? did she walk down a winding staircase of darkness that wasn't there before, only to find her daughter at the bottom? it seems like compelling evidence to me.

and last but certainly not least

this is fascinating. is the "her" being referred to here still Noelle, or is it possible that it could be someone else?

someone like, i dunno, a girl with narrative relevance who we would be happy to get a look at even just once?

someone who is still being grieved but we need to "move on" from?

someone like, oh, i dunno, DECEMBER HOLIDAY

that's all the documentation i've got in me for now. even though there's still stuff i wanna cover, ive been working on this literally all day and i just wanna have it be done before Chapter 5 drops lol.

genuinely how it feels trying not to argue with people who say Rob is an unambiguously bad person

i’m gonna start my TAWOG s7 watch now so here are my predictions for The Rewrite

the apocalypse seen in the painting does NOT happen because they’re saving that for the movie

we get some explanation for the events of The Inquisition

Rob is still a good guy

we learn how Rob escaped his fate in The Void after The Inquisition

Rob gets some sort of positive character growth and ends up in a better/happier state

reprise of the ending events of The Re-Run (i.e. Gumball and Rob grow closer and decide to stop being enemies)

queer-coded Gumrob moment (this is just something i would want rather than a solid prediction)

Darwin, Penny, or anyone else Gumball cares about is put in mortal peril

meta narrative commentary from the characters (i.e. someone acknowledges their role/archetype or the fact that they live in a television show)

i won’t be liveblogging my thoughts on every episode but when i get to the finale i shall return with whatever thoughts i have :3

I love the diamond golem sooo much (i was the one who did that colour pencil drawing on artfight) so i had to make a 3D model of it :3 decided not to submit this as an attack bc i was unsure about the texture rating (bc it is mostly just an edited diamond block texture)
