Dangerous Whumpee
CW: Restraints, muzzled, collared
Whumper keeps Whumpee in an excessive amount of restraints (can’t move an inch for chains, collared, muzzled) to ensure that they won’t break out - even if Whumpee is completely cooperative
Whumpee who does fight back, who bites, claws, scratches, does everything they can to cause as much damage to Whumper as possible
Whumper who “has to” keep Whumpee constantly sedated
Whumpee is a danger to themself, intentionally or not, so Whumper has to protect them before they fatally injure themselves
Nonhuman Whumpee is percieved as dangerous and muzzled/shock collared before they can plead their case, if they even can
Caretaker who is scared of Whumpee!
Stranger Caretaker arriving to rescue Whumpee after defeating Whumper but hesitating when they realise who or what Whumpee is
Whumpee’s hope turning to dread as they see this, and silently begging for mercy
Whumpee who lashes out at Caretaker, who hurts then one day, and guilt hits them at full force
Whumpee who believes they’re a danger to Caretaker and takes it upon themself to remove themself from the equation
Caretsker who flinches when Whumpee moves suddenly
Whumpee wakes up after being rescued, filled with relief - only when they try to move they notice the chains, and the muzzle
Or Whumpee wakes up in a hospital but is restrained to the bed “for their own safety”
Whumpee is a living weapon or villain and everyone is scared of them - except Caretaker’s child
Whumpee who tries to be gentle and unassuming to win the favour of those around them
Caretaker with a cool cloth on a sleeping feverish Whumpee, and Whumpee kinda half wakes up, Caretaker shushes them back to sleep “It’s okay, I’m just trying to get your fever down. You can go back to sleep”
Tropes that always give me whumperflies
Content: noncon nudity, manhandling, injuries, beating, fear, defiant/stoic whumpee
Throwing whumpee onto their knees before the enemy leader and holding them there by the back of the neck
Whumpee half-curled into a fetal position as they're being relentlessly kicked
Whumpee forced to strip. And doing so flushing and getting ashamed.
Whumpee shuddering and shaking from exhaustion caused by screaming, resisting, and fear
Wiping blood off hastily, grabbing injuries, making faces as they try not to cry
Ripping their pants down or shirt up so roughly it jerks whumpee's body
The broken sob that's kind of the end of a cry they barely managed to hold in
Whumpee feeling stupid, humiliated, even though anyone would, in their position
Sweating, swallowing, and keeping their face under control, trembling as they are inspected
Being twisted by the wrist, spun around, and slammed face-first into a wall or desk
Compromising positions like whumper sitting on their butt, in a non-sexual, violent way that just emphasizes the desperate physical struggle.
Grabbing them by the face to look at them and make snide observations about how scared they are
Slapping whumpee in the cheek
Small whumpees being thrown around and restrained physically by big whumpers
Grabbing their hair to slam them into the wall and whispering something in their ear that makes whumpee grimace
"turn around and face the wall."
Slapping a knife wound or gunshot injury and whumpee winces, cries and curls over the injury
A sarcastic remark dying on whumpee's lips as they see what whumper brought to beat them with
A stoic whumpee after a long time of taking a beating with only grunts of pain, groaning as a bone is broken, and as whumper raises their boot to kick again, whumpee hoarsely cries "wait wait, please! --please wait!"
Language Barriers In Whump
"I don't understand what you're saying!" -Whumpee yells in sheer panic -Whumpee sobs after trying, really trying, to understand. -Whumper, shaking Whumpee furiously in frustration, growls out.
Whumpees who partially understand: "No-- no I know that word. Don't say that. Please don't say that!" "I'm trying! Left-- you said left. Go left? I don't understand!" "Wait-- what did you say? What did you say?" "Stop. Stop! Please-- Stop! I'm saying it right, aren't I? Stop. Stop!"
Whumpee who are trying but simply can't.
"You're speaking too fast. Please... I'm trying-- I'm trying!" "I'm not being difficult! I'm not! I just can't understand you!" "I can't make it sound right..." "How do I say it? How? Teach me. Please! I can't remember how to say it!" "I don't know what you want from me..." Whumper shutting down Whumpee.
"If you can't say it right, don't say it at all." "You don't even fucking know what you're saying, do you?" "That's cute. You almost got it. Try again, then maybe I'll stop." "You talk like a child. Ignorant. Stupid." "Shhh... No. Don't try. I like your native tongue better. It's pretty." "Talk to me with that ugly tongue of yours again and I'll fucking hurt you, can you understand that?"
Whumper weaponizing translations
"I told them you said yes/no." "Someone asked if you needed help. Don't worry, I told them you didn't." "Wouldn't it be so much easier if you could talk to everyone else? Tell them what you need? Tell them what I do to you? But yo can't. That's too bad." "Oh, yeah. See, I told you that meant thank you but actually its an insult. Maybe that's why they hit you? Not too sure, honestly." Whumper getting frustrated.
"You know that word. You know it! Don't pretend like you don't." "Listen. Fucking listen! Look at me! Damn it!" "Say it back to me. Say it just how I said it. No, are you fucking stupid?" "Aw? You're trying to tell me something? Too bad you speak that stupid language that no one but you and your other mutts understand." "This would be so much easier if you just paid attention." "I'm really tired of repeating myself, Whumpee." Caretaker trying to be reassuring. "I know you don't understand but it's okay. I promise it's okay." "I don't know how to say this in a way you'll understand..." "I'm not hurting you. I'm helping. Do you understand? Helping? I'm helping." Caretaker desperately trying to communicate "Does this mean anything to you? What I'm saying?" "Please. I'm trying, I really am. Just-- Damn it! I want to understand you." "Point to where it hurts. Like this, see? Point." *Frantic hand gestures* *Absolutely butchering Whumpee's native language to the point its gibberish* *Drawing pictures for whumpee* I

100° Fever tropes to celebrate 100 followers!! Thank you guys so much for your support ^^
• The slow realization that they keep brushing it off until they can’t stand anymore.
• Glassy eyes, flushed cheeks, and a voice that’ll barely go over a whisper.
• Strange fever dreams that blur time, leaving the whumpee waking up thinking only minutes have passed when it’s been hours.
• The whumpee trying to stand up right, but keeps swaying back and forth, unable to keep good balance from their body being so weak.
• Random, delirious mumbling that is hardly coherent at all.
• The soft whisper of the whumper saying “You’re burning up…”
• The caretaker staying up all night long, warily counting each and every uneven breath that the whumpee draws in.
• A bucket that never leaves the side of the bed in case the whumpee needs to throw up.
• The caretaker pressing a cold cloth against the whumpee’s head in an attempt to calm the fever.
• Slumped posture, barely holding themselves upright while the world tilts.
• The really dry or wet coughs that just don’t seem to be getting any better.
• Slumped posture, barely holding themselves upright while the world tilts.
• The gross, messy saliva that drenches the whumpee’s arm ( or hand) whenever they sneeze into it.
• The whumpee tossing and turning, because they can’t get comfortable and are too hot to sleep under the covers.
• The caretaker rubbing the whumpee’s back for comfort.
• The whumpee’s hands trembling as they fumble with a water bottle.
• The endless mounds of tissue that are from the whumpee blowing their nose
• Shivering even as sweat beads on their skin and forehead, eventually dripping down their face like raindrops from the sky.
• A blanket being tucked tighter around them as they mumble in protest.
• “You’re too hot,” the caretaker mutters, voice laced with worry and tenderness.
• A damp washcloth slipping from their forehead when they drift back to sleep.
• That fragile, exhausted smile when they finally wake and whisper, “Hey…”
• Fever finally breaking in the early morning light. Soaked sheets, trembling relief, and soft reassurances from their caretaker.
Part 2 of 3 commissions from @elgrajaz featuring Chip getting muzzled. I'm so happy with the expressions and his hair!
Unfortunately this is what happens when you're a bite risk. Captain thoroughly enjoys things that take away either senses or methods of defending one's self.
Poor thing panics so hard whenever restraints like this get involved but what can one expect from a 'declawed' cat?
He always looks so good when he's upset.
🫁 Lung injuries
LUNGGGGGSSSS. They are seriously some of my favourite whump related injuries to write!
I started researching lung injuries as a teen (before I ever knew I was into whump), and I have so much useless information relating to the subject. So here is whatever I remember. Because more Whumpees deserve lung damage.
They're a class of injury that is not just hell to endure, but also to watch someone else go through. So Caretaker can also suffer in proxy.
A Whumpee might have to gurgle their words past the blood that’s coming up from their lungs, desperately pull air into a lung that won’t inflate because it has collapsed, or start losing coherence and coordination due to oxygen deprivation.
