Happy (late) Moon Festival！

Though Moon no longer has the Butterfly wand, she is still an active magic user, and has almost made a hobby out of it. She has begun her own book of spells and has had a wand created by the best wood worker in her new kingdom. 

Now that Decadia is beginning her princess training and helps her to rule, Moon has begun to teach her granddaughter about magic and Butterfly history, and on her 14th birthday gave her her own wand so that she can try out what she’s been taught. A year later and she’s already helping Moon create new spells.

Dex spends almost every weekend in the Yurt Kingdom, from about midday Friday to late Sunday evening (im pretty sure they measure time the same way on mewni?) and she loves it more every time. To Decadia, this is where she belongs, and it has caused a bit of distance emotionally between her and the rest of her family in the Underworld. 

She’s never been to Echo Creek and doesn’t really see what her mother loves so much about it. Meteora goes there to visit Mariposa and always returns grumpy and smelling weird. The forests of the Yurt Kingdom are where she would rather stay.
